Not a matter of that, just haven't needed to get any of their stuff at this time and they have nothing that is being requested that I need. If I need a song only they have, then I'd get it from them.

GeminiMALE40 wrote: why????? DONT LIKE THEIR STUFFoooooppppss? or what Well, I do. Liked the instrumentation, arrangement & the wipes. I think I had 32 downloads from kc. Just don’t like the way they conduct business. i.e., I was promised I will get ccard itemized receipt soon from my song purchases but that never happened. No 30-sec song sample to review what you're buying. Also, I needed to re-download couple song but those were no longer available in my download history either; hence, goodbye cloud, hello tricera & kv. Immediate transaction receipt via email from both, listing the name of the songs that were downloaded. Also, past downloads from day one always available at a click. My goto download sites.

All Star's version of stay by Florida Georgia line is more complete than the cloud's version which is missing backup vocals.

I've sampled a few on Select-A-Track and from what I can tell they sound musically identical to SBI, Abraxa, Mr. Entertainer and Sunfly. Except "true love" by Pink, which sounds like it's been speeded up. (why???)

Play the Digitrax next to the Mr. Entertainer version and you'll see what I mean. Can you access Select-a-track?

I know the Cloud sells stuff like SBI & Sunfly (which would be the same as Mr Entertainer musically). Are you sure you aren't listening to one of those tracks? Or was this an actual Karaoke Cloud/Digitrax branded track? Without being an active subscriber, I cannot listen to the similarities.

Karaoke Cloud is just Chartbusters in sheep's clothing. I don't believe that there is any connection between the Cloud and any of the other companies mentioned. There are bound to be some tracks that will sound very similar since they are all trying their best to sound like the original track.

They are Digitrax tracks on Select-A-Track labelled CB*******. Many of these track are identical to ME/SB/AX/SF. Check them out if you don't believe me!

It's not a matter of believing. Since I cannot access SAT anymore I cannot comment, however, I do have a large selection of CB discs & I can say for fact, none match up exactly to SBI/Sunfly/Abraxa/Mr. E. I have found some CB that have matched up thoroughly to Sweet Georgia Brown however. But like someone stated, most of Digitrax tracks are nothing more than rebranded CB tracks (they admitted that themselves) - now their newer stuff may be SBI based - and that would in fact match up to those labels musically.

GeminiMALE40 wrote: OK..I think we got off topic....the question was What is going on with KC..as far as currently only listing 2 releases on their site..anyone else notice New Hits March 2014 Country 1. Cop Car - Keith Urban 2. Get Me Some Of That - Thomas Rhett 3. I Got A Car - George Strait 4. Mona Lisa, The - Brad Paisley 5. Whiskey In My Water - Tyler Farr 6. Automatic - Miranda Lambert 7. Ready Set Roll - Chase Rice 8. Best Seat In The House - LoCash Cowboys 9. Beachin' - Jake Owen 10. Hope You Get Lonely Tonight - Cole Swindell New Hits February 2014 Pop v.2 1. How I Feel - Flo Rida 2. All Of Me - John Legend 3. Alone Together - Fall Out Boy 4. Hold On, We're Going Home - Drake ftg. Majid Jordan 5. Coming Of Age - Foster The People 6. Chocolate - 1975, The 7. I Luv This Sh*t - August Alsina ftg. Trinidad James 8. Do I Wanna Know? - Arctic Monkeys 9. Mine - Beyonce ftg. Drake 10. Addicted To You - Avicii Those songs can be purchased as individual downloads at $1.99 each, or you can purchase the entire set (Country or Pop) of the 10 songs listed for $14.99. So, where you may see it as only 2 new releases, I see it as 20. Maybe you should ask Gretchen your question about what is going on? I would suggest calling, but you could also try in either of these 2 topic threads: viewtopic.php?f=1&t=28900 viewtopic.php?f=1&t=28738&start=20

I was indeed referring to the new stuff, i.e. the titles that were only released under the Digitrax/Karaoke Cloud brand, and not on the original Chartbuster label and/or discs. Barring any confusing copyright notices. I agree that the Chartbuster back catalogue - and anything CB put out on disc pre-Cloud - is nothing like SBI (usually better quality) but the most recent Digitrax/Karaoke Cloud releases most definitely are. I didn't know about the SGB link though.

I didn't know about the SGB link though. That I could believe. It would be cheaper for them to get the tracks from already made sources rather than hiring out full musicians and recording time. Or maybe they are doing the recordings and selling their works to the other labels.

I believe Gretchen already once stated, that they are still using the recording studio that chartbuster used in nashville. edit i was slightly mistaken. found an old quote from brian a "I asked Gretchen a few months back about the same question & at the same time extended my compliments regarding cb instrumentations. I asked if they employ the same musicians because I get that feel of the old distinctive cb quality sound I’ve been accustomed to. She said, “No, not the same musicians. New releases were done by very talented DT employees that hold down other jobs who happened to be good musicians as well. Everything done in-house”. Or words to that effect. Doing a pretty darn good job, I might add. "
