Hi there,

I'm looking for 2 out of print Sound Choice cassettes, from around 1992 and/or 1993.
They are:
Songs of Michael W. Smith vol. 1
Songs of Michael W. Smith vol. 2

There are some songs on these tapes that have since not been released on disc. I had these tapes at one time, but they got lost. If you have these for sale please let me know the price. I am in the US and have Paypal.

If I recall correctly, I think the track of "I Am Sure" is on one of them. I've found CD/digital versions of the others but not this one.
It may also be on a Deniece Williams "songs of" karaoke type by the same company.

I distinctly remember it being on one of those tapes, but I have searched for years over the internet and not found that song.

I would give 800-Karaoke a try and tell them Justin sent you. If you can not find the songs I will do my best to see if there are Christian companies who made CD or CD+G and give them to you.

I've had people come to me with Christian backing tracks on cassette and with my studio technology, I am able to remove hiss and make a tape sound like a digitally mastered CD. I own a very expensive package from waves mercury so it is not lackluster like Cool Edit Pro. I can also provide key change "free of charge" with a technology that leaves NO artifacts in the music. It is not like the typical key changers you find in the karaoke programs or in a rack mount.

I am sure he might have it on cassette as he has a stockpile of songs. There is also Chartbuster who did buy out a Christian company.

I will do all I can to help you. Please let me know the 8+ songs you are looking for. A lot of time they have tracks with and without harmonies and in different keys. If it is on a SoundChoice, I would need special permission to do any key changes for you. Mr. Harrington is the one to ask. I would not charge you as I do a lot of charity work and believe in paying it forward.

Who is Mr. Harrington? Just curious.
Would he know if that song was released on Sound Choice?
It's been so long, I am wondering if it was on either Sound Choice or Pocket Songs. Regardless, I know it was released as a "karaoke" track.

Word Music also released a Studio Series (original accompaniment) tape to the song, but that's been out of print for years.

If it's on cassette, I can clean it up and all myself. I do it all the time, I have Audacity and I've used it for years. I have many out of print Christian accompaniment tapes and I often digitize them.
