You might try reinstalling cdrwin just in case!

I did that too Matt. I tried to reinstall it from a disk I had it saved on, didn't work. So I went to the website and tried to download it from there..... same thing.

Pinnacle is a DVD burner program, Roxio is an audio burning program.

Ah well, I don't think I'll ever figure it out.

I did get CD Clone to work, but I don't really like that program as well, so therefore I don't want to buy the full version of it. (so...let's see... I got about 17 days left of my 21 day free trial to figure this out? )  LOL

I really don't burn cdg's too often, it's just irritating when you can't figure something stupid like this out.  :(

.
what I would do is uninstall ALL burning programs, and then reinstall cdrwin... if it's that important to you.

Course that might not work... when all else fails, boil it down to the simplest equations.

Glad you changed your avatar. You should avoid those close-up shots. LMAO  :oh yeah:

I did uninstall Roxio, cause I don't really use it. I would HATE to uninstall Pinnacle Studio, that's a big program and took a while to install.  :(

And it's not that it's "that important to me", it's just that... it's what I'm used to, I like it... and I hate change. Worse yet, I hate when something doesn't work and I don't know WHY.... seriously, even if I continue to use a different program, I'll most likely keep messing with CDRWin... just because... it's bugging me now.  :D

Charmin, is CDRWin not working at all now? Or are you just having an occasional problem with it?

I would think that if some other program was causing a conflict with CDRWin it would happen everytime.

Thank you Tony. You know, maybe all you engineer guys aren't so bad after all.....

Well, if I had your big ol' dumbarse on my back, I reckon I wouldn't have any choice but hold still or break something either... daddy. btw, I hate when men use that word. Why a woman call a lover "daddy" is beyond me, it sounds incestuous and all wrong.

Your pot shots aren't gonna work. My pic was not put up here for your approval, I think that horse your on is a bit too high Keith..... come on down here with the rest of us, why don't ya.

And...... I don't need your help after all. I got a good answer in a PM, and my CDRWin is working again as of a couple minutes ago...... so, thanks but no thanks. Go find someone else to cook for ya.

No, I did kinda judo-chop the monitor..... but that didn't help. Cursing and threats didn't either. I almost resorted to tears, but I think my computer must be a man, as unstable as it's been since I purchased it.... so, no tears allowed. Then it would have shut down and just went into sleep (snore?) mode on me.  :(

hahaha......

Aww, thank you Matt.

I think I got this figured out:

Post a REALLY ugly pic of yourself, then when you post a new one, it HAS to look better..... and you'll get compliments.

Thanks for your help Matt.

EXCEPT that Roxio creator does not allow you to copy copyrighted products...I got their latest paid version "Media Creator", it was a waste of $$ cause I can't use it to copy anything copyrighted.....

There's a little program that is now basically freeware that takes care of that nasty
copy protection problem.  Launch it first and you're home free.
