You can post here Johnny, just don't be too serious, unless you want to.

Okay, maybe mindless, banal and insipid was too lofty a choice. Too many things to keep up with, too tedious.

I'll stick with mindless.

So Chuck, if this forum is the "Discussion Forum - This is the place to talk about almost anything" and this thread is O/T- Off Topic then are we supposed mindlessly, insipidly and banally talk about "almost nothing" instead of "almost anything"?  In that case, I shouldn't have even asked this question because I was talking about "almost anything" -- or maybe it was "almost nothing " afterall.  I'm confused here Chuck!  :thinkin:

I knew people that worked at the sub-atomic particle accelerator in College Station. It was at Texas A&M. They were a riot.

Hi Sheree

I think they belong to a club, they're all on a first name basis. You know, like actors.

Anybody from Australia that knows Bruce tell him hi for me.

This is still mindless because I'm sure a topic that few care to discuss. I wonder if entertainment has improved or gotten even worse since the influx of channels available these days.

I watch shows that many don't even like to hear about. If they are entertaining to me that's all I care. DOn't care for much reality TV because it just doesn't grab me. Most of it seems a little surreal anyway. We used to call shows like most of these game shows.

Since there are so many choices it seems that the programmers could specialize instead of trying to reach down to a wider viewer base. I've heard people being insulted by the very shows they like because the shows are targeted at too many groups so that the quality of the show suffers from being dumbed down.

I might try to watch Mind of Mencia sometime because he doesn't seem to be as concerned about poilitical correctness. That's one of things I used to like about Eddie Murphy.

He's one of the comedians that my wife and I love!  We like the fact that he 'tells it like it is'!

Question:  How did "politically correct" ever come to mean 'factually incorrect'?
