					| My dear Perry, I ask you to promise me something...stay the wonderful, loving, caring person you are no matter what.
I have a number of opinions on this thread, but I do not feel I can offer any advice other than to follow your heart. Everything works out the way it is supposed to, even if it doesn't seem that way at the time.

I still get jealous sometimes when Chuck flirts with other girls, but you know what? That is MY problem and I refuse to make it his. And I am not as bad as I used to be..we quit playing those games a long, long time ago. Besides I am one of those female friends of Rich's that Sharon was talking about; Rich and I have been through death and divorce (his first, then mine) together, and nothing is going to end this 20-year friendship!

					| Hey. Sorry I left for a few days again. Been worried about alot lately. My wife's dad is in the final stages of lung cancer in the hospital right now, so we've been trying to pull together for our goodbyes....<<<< there's an oxymoron. Possibly, all of the stress lately has had my wife and I both on edge or moody. I'm trying to give her all the support I can right now. She knows I still love her, but she worries too much about it.
This whole thing started out as a joke, and turned into an episode of Dr. PHIL. It's just another crisis to work through that always leads to another level of marital bliss...eh? Well, I appreciate the support of everyone in this thread. I will try to learn from this and act accordingly from now on.
Our lives are no storybook romance that's for sure, but we have stood the test of time, and really, I'm not counting, so I must not be that unhappy. And if she's not counting either, then maybe things will get better.
Thanks ladies and gents......you really have helped.     :handshake:
That's weird.....whenever the name Phil is typed, our buddy shows up.     LMAO

					| Perry, that is sad to hear..Gosh a situation like that can pull emotions from deep within out to the surface...Rich and I have been through many a slow death together..It is not fun..Things for us always fall back into place after the mourning is over..Although there have been times when we didn't think we would make but we did and still are....Heck many of our friends wonder why we arn't divorced yet...we've been through every reason why people get divorced..you name it...Just hang in there, this too will pass..
In the style of the Bud guys....We love you man!!!!

I know what you mean, Sharon.  Me and Paul have been through a LOT together, things that would break up a marriage for sure.  I withdrew at one point and didn't even want to work on our marriage and it was almost the death of it.  Many things happened in 2005...I won't get into it here...but in the end I don't regret it because it only made our marriage stronger.  I love him with all my heart and soul because he has proven to me that his love is in fact, unconditional.  Marriage is sometimes "work".  But the fruits of your labor are well worth it._________________

My father-in-law just passed this morning also. Man....I've been through this before, but it's still tough to see my wife suffering. She needs me, and I need her. We'll be alright though.
Take care friends. I'll be back after a while.

					| Hey all, thought I'd stop in for a few and thank everyone for the condolences. I didn't mean for this thread to turn into a pity party, but I'm thankful that so many people are nice enough to be concerned.
I just got finished saving a bunch of family pics that my wife's sister burnt to cd.....thought I'd throw one out here.

This is me, my mom, my wife, and her dad on 08/26/89....the day we were legally married.
