Does anyone remember Johnny Echo.. He used to do all those really funny parody song in the showcase....anyways he and his lovely wife came down from Indiana to sing with us... And of coarse as luck would have it.. We all forgot to bring our cameras... But alas I did have my camera phone we we got a couple of pics but they are not very good.. We will be singing again on Sunday and I will make sure to take the real camera then and post better pics...
So johnny and karen are super nice and fun people to hang out with....

Years ago a few of us wnet up to DC for new years eve. In the aft we were sitting in a hotel lounge and I heard a voice It was Jerry Lewis!! We were all in dress blues and I went flying up is that you man? He was sorounded by a whole bunch of important looking people.
He told them you people go ahead Im gonna party with these sailors.. We drank for about 2 hours He kept us in stitches. It is so great to meet somebody that you never thought you would It makes for one those never forgotten days..

Johnny rightfully called us wimps for letting the weather keep us from going out Friday night. However, we went to the local Renaissance Faire today in 48 degree weather so maybe we can regain our good name as far as being unafraid of the elements. Except Plutonium; it scares me a little.
We are ON for Sunday! Maybe even stay out too late and I can call in sick on Monday. What are they gonna do, fire me? (Refer to the Where are Chuckles and Gigi thread for an explanation if necessary.)

Sunday evening was fun too, hehheh. Yay, Chuck and I made it out there this time! And I think Johnny may be easier to convince to go to a karaoke show that even Sharon!
Johnny and Karen are two of the nicest people you could possibly meet. Effortlessly nice. Genuine. I have got to clean up my act if I am going to continue to associate with such wonderful folks.
We have already told them they are coming back. Haven't convinced them to actually MOVE down here yet, tho. :O

I've spoken with Johnny a few times on the phone and he's mentioned he and Karen may head south to Ky sometime this spring. He's a great guy and a bit of a lunatic, my kinda people

It was great to meet Rich&Sharon, Chuck&Gigi, Dave&Jennifer.....they are awesome people.....they can really sing down there in Texas.......made me very humble. Even the strangers in that bar made us feel welcome.......thank you all for showing us a great time, and being so down right friendly.....was also great that you are close to my old friends that moved there 15 years ago......I finally visited them.....  ....won't be the last time either........thanks again my most gracious hosts........jj
