Well, keep on believin' little lady:) Treated royally hell, it was "honey THIS" and "mom THAT" all day long.... until I ditched them:) How rude of me. My daughter and one of my sons had to work today, my oldest and his wife took me to dinner and a movie last night for my BD, and my youngest... well, he said "happy birthday mom" on his way out the door to skateboard with friends. It was peaceful atleast, what more can ya ask? Lmao

Nah, I spent my day locked in my bedroom practicing my fiddle and guitar. I can't put my voice to song lately... I've had some middle ear issues, can't hear out of the left side hardly at all now, and the couple times I've tried singing it's very odd sounding in my head, and I'm a bit terrified of what it sounds like to others:) So...I got the instruments back out. I've been needing to do that anyhow, I've gotten rusty (- - er?) .... My dad came by and I made him take my fiddle in hand and play me some songs. So, yeah, all in all I had a great day.

Thanks you guys. I just popped on here and found some subs.... and I'm gonna listen to them FIRST thing in the morning.... I actually just came over here to PM ya Vicki, but since I found this.... I just wanted to say thanks, and please leave the song up for me until I've been around tomorrow:)

lmao your special day sounds a bit like things in my house Charmin...I have this mantra I keep repeating (one of these days I might learn to believe it)
it goes like this...

Well, I guess you could look at it that way, Lol. Thing is... I'm not the type of person to NEED a special day. My hubby wanted to plan a BBQ, I said hail no... Odie was wanting to get a group together to go out to karaoke, I wasn't up to it. I did go, but didn't invite anybody (again... how rude of me) but I just haven't been in a party mood of late. And hello... I'm 39 now, WHO wants to celebrate THAT?  :(

Actually, your personality #3 is a very good singer. He sings bluegrass mostly;) I think  *Bubba-Kappy* is how he addressed himself.




Cool link Steven. I've seen lots of kids play like that. If you ever get the chance (or inclination) to go to a bluegrass festival, you'd be amazed at the young kids who are very talented. Best place to see it is at the National Fiddler Contest in Weiser Idaho. It draws people from all over the states... and some of the talent you see & hear are just unbelievable. (even if you don't care for the genre of music... the talent is unmistakeable)

After clicking that link, I sat on YouTube for about an hour, Lol. I watched lots of videos, of music, and dancing as well. I'm wanting to get into *Buck Dancing*... it's a sort of clogging, but a bit more hick I guess. But it's cool... Emmylou Harris, one of my favorite singers, was well known for her clog dancing. And again, you can find kids at a VERY young age, who can do this, and their timing and rythm is remarkable.

You mean Cletus ?  Yeah,  I try to forget about the redneck Alter-ego.   I have a tough time stomaching his ways.  But he seems to have his own type of charm that I will likely never understand.


"Floyd" to me refers to Pink Floyd, but Cletus listens to stuff such as Floyd Kramer.
