No, for crise sake.... my cousins, haha, would take it as a compliment that you call me "shytkicker". LMAO
Hope I can make it though, that would be tons of fun....

Vicki,
Regarding your request, I posted this around June 5th on the "Problem accessing KS" thread. I believe this is about all I posted regarding alternate ISP options.
Quote: Did an experiment, and if you can make heads/tails out've this it might help.
The problem (at least regarding America Online access) appears to somehow be an America Online block, not vice versa..
I switched my ISP on AOL from Google to Netscape. I wasn't able to access Karaokescene with or without content blocks on. I signed out've America Online and changed my Internet Exporer search engine to "Netscape", I was able to readily access Karaokescene regardless of content filters on or off. It seems using netscape all should be able to hit this site. I'm currently here from Netscape.
Today 4 PM August 16th
I was able to access this site from a few of the following links by entering KaraokeScene into the Netscape dot com search engine
http://search.netscape.com/search/searc ... e=net-home

Geez....I finally found this link......duhhhh uhhh huuhhhhh duuuhhh huhhh.
Does this mean anyone can attend?
Even a plastic toothed Hoosier who can't enunciate "s" sounds in his songs like me?
I promise....I won't take my teeth out...well...only for about 15 minutes a day. I even leave 'em in when I'm naked. But in the dark, it's a special treat if y'all women know what I mean? :baby1: :oh yeah: :cowboy: LMAO LMAO

Gosh, Perry, you showed up way too late.
You see, I'm in charge of the sleeping arrangements there, and I've already gotten it all planned out.
Where to add in one more fella? Hmmmmm.......
I guess you'll have to bunk with me:)

I asked for that.....didn't I?
Okay....I'm gonna stop talking about how gross I am now....promise.
Sounds like fun! You, Gilly, and the rest.
My wifey already despises this karaoke thing, so I'm flirtin' with disaster here.
How could I ever convince her to go with me to meet all of these fine women? (And cool dudes)

Wifey?
Dang, Perry, don't be saying that "W" word when we're practicing our flirts. Dayum it, you messed it all up. LMAO
I betcha I wont even be attending and getting to meet you all.... not if the "H" word of mine has anything to do with it:)
But we'll see.

Y'all know I'm not usually like this.
But now, you've sparked my interest.
That offer sounded like the best one in the house!!
But you really should leave the "H" at home.....and I'll leave the "W" at home as well.
Uh ohh, now I've just opened up an invitation for all the man haters to rip me to shreds.
I'm not just flirtin' here...I'm dead serious!

I can be a real idiot sometimes.....
And about the tooth thing....big deal....who cares?
I even made a joke once in the forum about a dude at live karaoke that sings with no teeth at all........but it's affecting his sound dang it!!
Now the whole world knows my business.....but I thought it better that way than just a few making fun behind my back?
About 5 years ago, I found out I had irreversible gum disease in which I would eventually lose 15 of my 30 straight, decent looking teeth. I kept getting abcesses that were so painful I wanted to die. The bone structure underneath was eroding which would cause my teeth to become loose and start falling out.
And the specialist I went to scared me into thinking that the poison in my system from the gum problems would start affecting my heart leading to all kinds of problems.
I just wanted the pain to go away, so I took matters into my own hands and started reseaching the denture thing.
To tell the truth, I'm totally devastated now......I never did get use to it after all this time, but I'll never leave the house without 'em either.
Call it vanity or whatever.....but I'm going through a living hell everyday so the public won't judge my appearance negatively.
I never should've told anyone....nobody knows the difference. Except maybe an intimate partner.
Atleast I can still eat, talk, barely sing, and I don't look like a character from the movie "Deliverance"...........says me.......... LMAO

Quote: I can be a real idiot sometimes..... Yeah, ya flaming idiot, why don't ya just behave? LMAO Quote: About 5 years ago, I found out I had irreversible gum disease in which I would eventually lose 15 of my 30 straight, decent looking teeth. And the specialist I went to scared me into thinking that the poison in my system from the gum problems would start affecting my heart leading to all kinds of problems. My oldest son has something similar. His teeth decayed from the inside out. They said they "de-calsified", most likely due to him taking too many antibiotics as an infant. (he was a chronic ear infection baby for the first 9-10 months) But anyhow, I recall when his front teeth first started doing that, it looked like he didn't brush good enough around the gumline... I used to YELL at that boy to "get back in there and brush them teeth better".... then when a dentist told me there was no help for it, I felt bad:) He must have had the best brushed teeth on the west coast... but it was a disease, and there was no way to stop it from progressing. All of his front teeth have had root canals and been capped, as will the rest of them in time- but they did say someday he might have to look at dentures. He has a very nice smile now... cause they're capped. Quote: Call it vanity or whatever.....but I'm going through a living hell everyday so the public won't judge my appearance negatively. I don't really understand your negative outook about having that done. We cut & die & curl our hair to look better... we diet... we exercise... we wear makeup... (atleast us females do, Lol)... we tan... we lift weights... hell, some have plastic surgery and implants... all in the name of "looking better". So you did something to improve your smile AND eliminate a health risk... I say good for you for making the smart decision:) No need to be ashamed of that.
I have a younger brother- he's 4 years younger than me- who has complete false teeth. His, sadly, rotted due to a methamphetamine addiction. When he became clean and sober about 8 years ago, he went in and had all his teeth removed and got false ones- now he has a gorgeous smile.
Nothing at all wrong with it IMO....... smile Perry;)
