Naturally I would imagine, it is who you know, or how marketable you are that determines your *Stature* in the music biz.  Once my former manager said that I would make millions on my looks alone! It bothered me, but I knew he was right, because THAT is a huge part of what sells!

I mean come on take Britney Spears for example, what talent does she have besides being a good dancer and making the cover of the news at least twice a week? Zero-talent, but marketable as hec...

Oh yeah, those are fitty {Whatever} cents lyrics, word for word...Brilliantlly written eh?  :shock:

Goodnight, Dreamland calls!! Nice chatting with ya Mr. Kaplan...

Dani ;-)

I know they are fitty's lyrics.  I looked them up. Hehehe...

I haven't a clue what makes it today to be honest.. So I prefer to give myself permission to just love what I love in the arts with no more expectations because ANYTHING I do at this point positive is just added bonus.. If I wish to try to sing, it's similarly OK for me not be good, realizing I can't be good at all I do, but for some reason (and it appears to be of more importance to me than many in the showcase) to NEVER submit anything short of my best effort assuming I'm proud of what I do. IOW..  I'm not the type who feels that subbing ANYTHING I do (as long as it's me) is a good thing in an artistic area.  For a second grader, sure... As an adult I believe performance means "better than average"...   JMHO..

Seems she's taking the Shannon Daugherty method to success,  IE. When ratings are down,  you can always stay in trouble to keep your foot in the door;  Whatever it takes to prolong your name staying in headline news if fine

Good Night btw..  I too need to crash before daylight.

I have to admit,  I liked it.  Melrose place was getting too dramatic for me.

There's this really cool supernatural site on the internet,  I think I have it saved someplace. If-so, I'll post it.. Again, "I think" I have it.  I'm not being quite so definitive anymore because I thought I also knew which show the "Stitch and Sew" song was from, and I did (but not until about 12 hours later)... Lemme check.. This is a cool site,  has ghost pictures, and neat photo's of the paranormal, I just LOVE this stuff so much it keeps me awake at night !!

Still, even things we don't know much about can be fascinating.

No,  IT's what happens to me when I wake up at around 2 AM  (Assuming of course I end up falling asleep at a rediculously early time such as before 12 AM which seldom happens)  and decided to watch a move like say....Salems Lot, The Exorcist, or one of the movies from my Classic horror library...  Or even when I'm bored, and go to the "Ghost Cam" sites...

{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{ :shock: }}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}

I have an awed-fascination with the paranormal, however If I experienced any of it firsthand, I'd FREAK

Truth be told,  I've never been able to watch it..  I watched the beginning, and after the thunder struck and a curtain started blowing I think I wet my pants, and had to shut it off.. Well I have an excuse for wetting my pants, see..  I was young... (Still in my 30's)

On the other hand,  Carrie which I thought was a terribly sad movie I thought had a happy ending :)   I liked her means of revenge..  and you have to admit, at the very end of the movie, when her friend is at the grave, and the hand shoots out've the ground,  it's FREAKY....
