80's was a tough decade for me.  I missed A LOT of life and what was going on in the outside world.  This included most movies, and quite abit of music. It was my first decade of total sobriety, and THAT took about the whole decade... So, Outside of Dire-Straits, and cover material I was playing, I coexisted alongside it, but sort've lived in my head away from it..  (Tough to describe), but it's little wonder to me that assuming I missed any excellent productions that most are familiar with, they were popular in that decade.

Awwww, you slept through the 80's too huh? Vicki once said that too...Man the 80's were incredible, at least for me! Personally, I think the 80's produced some of the best music & movies!
