It's a big commitment, though.
Awwww Lena, I didn't know that you couldn't walk, goodness...

Unless they're scared of those guys, in that case they could get a pet rock. Low maintenance. LOL I personally think the Rose Tarantulas are so gorgeous. I was thinking of getting one.

Ladies, I'll bite the bullet. don't spread this to the main board.. I posted my first attempt at a Who song on K-solo... 5 dollar desk microphone, no recording gear, no reverb, just me popping a cheapo mic hiding behind the instrumentals....
"Behind blue eyes" and it sucks... Couldn't even make the falsetto.

My older brother had one for about 2 years, it was pretty cool, creepy, but cool! When it shed, it looked as if there was another identical spider right next to it.

You can try to hear it, but the BEST part of the song is that I'm barely audible !!!!!
K-solo (I have no means of recording so this is a computer talking paltalk type microphone with no gear)

I didn't want to ruin the good vocal quality on the harmony singers so I kept it respectfully QUIET

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HELP... I have no real voice.... No warmth, no body, no girth... but I want to sing powerful rock songs What do I do ???????? I tried to keep the volume down because I'm REALLY embarassed about the inability to have a vocal timbre Cathi. I know what I want to sing, and for stylistics and delfonics I have a very strong falsetto, but it's either that or a nasally baritone, and I'm not happy with either.
Now I'm trying more than a feeling by Boston, and just to get Delps warmth in real voice is a byotch, let alone when he raised pitch to the Chorus... I can't do it. I'm trying to do exactly what Operakitty told me and smiling with the wide facial expression to get a cleaner brightness, but I just don't have a vocal timbre with any girth.. I sound like a nerd trying to sing. Problem being, PRACTICING doesn't get me out've that, there's either something I'm NOT doing, or perhaps I won't be able to do..

Keep in mind you're not hearing his "naked" voice. You're hearing the benefits of really expensive microphones, all types of stuff to enhance his sound.
Once you get going recording on your computer, you will have access to stuff that can enhance your sound.
Think of it kinda like playing your electric guitar without the amp, and then plugging it in.
I know that doesn't answer your question (I'm no expert)...
If you go on youtube and search for singing lessons, they have some on there.

No No, You mean the benefits of REALLY INEXPENSIVE microphones turned WAY down that enhance my voice !!!!
Yeah, It sounds different hearing myself digitally than thru a cassette tape recorder, this is the first time I've ever heard myself digitally, the cassette is REALLY gawd awful... THis is too, but I't a tiny step up...
