Learning to sing is even more exciting than my last thrill.. Learning to type in the dark with the computer on a tray over me, no looking at the keys, THAT took years, flunked HS typing twice because I looked at my fingers during the final test.. Habit I got into from piano playing by ear, I never did like sheet music.. Anyway... Since I don't read, you folks are my bedtime story .. but NOW I hear... If you get into stuff that gets you hyped up, you aren't going to be able to sleep... Next they'll be telling me my diet is important... Isn't there anything a non-smoker, non-drinker can do that's fun that doesn't need to be modified ? Modifying behaviour sucks ! That being said. Anyone have a cheesecake I can borrow ?
Quote: NOONE, and I mean nobody whatsoever, here in KS (or anywhere for that matter) who's worth a grain of salt will ridicule you for trying to better yourself or just by simply doing something you love and improving those abilities.
I think what scares me equally as much are those that will say "Who cares how it sounds, as long as you enjoy it, because it's just Karaoke, don't take it so seriously".. For some reason Cathi, I REALLY REALLY don't want that said to me.. Singing to me is NOT just Karaoke, It is something I've been wanting to do most of my life, never could figure out how.. Something worth working at, and taking seriously !

Sadly, everything seems to need modifying to a certain degree! Wanna know something? Some might even say that a healthy diet can improve your singing, seriously! So ummmmm, I'd lay off the cheesecake Mr. Kaplan!
Not drinking & smoking will surely make the recording process much smoother for a person...It also improves the overall glow to your skin! <----------Infomercial at it's finest! Clean living, there's nothing like it...Although if my Step-Dad was still alive, he'd surely dispute that theory!
Work beckons, have a great day everyone!

As you all know, food affects mood, and since hybernation season is starting, I need the energy and antidepressant affect of carbs, sugars, fats, and the remaining major food groups.. like pizza, and chinese.

Surely, I only eat healthy foods, and I LOVE pizza, so I settle for low-carb pizza. Not as tasty but it sure is good for ya!
Do you mean to tell me that there is *Boiling Bag* pizza? Oh yucko!

I tried making pizza a few times with english toasting dough, thawed it out and used that for the crust... Bought it frozen from the grocery store next door... I'm not into cooking tho.. Not my thing. Yep, I was thinking that this might be the second longest thread in KS ? Billy had one that went for a year and was well over 1000 posts.
We're just talkative newbies
