Yeah I believe so, I never really thought about it! I never spelled it with an *A* but it appears that you can...

Really this is just "Snoop doggistics" ?  Right ?

This isn't actually "hip hop" is it ?  or did he carve his stuff into the hip hop culture.. Actually Dani,  I played in so many R&B bands and have so much exposure to this type slang,  it's nothing unusual for me..  I think it's changed since the mid-70's tho... terms such as

"Serious"
"Righteous"
"Jive"
and the phrase

What it is ?

were huge when I was younger..  but we didn't have the Martin Lawrence

"Wattup" ?  slang,   we did have "Yo Sup" ?  Wassup,  word ?   etc

but there was no "Shnizzle-speak"   LOL

However 30 years ago,    :diggit:, or "you dig" ? was huge.  terms for pot and alcohol were often "Get nice",   or "get high".. I no longer hear (of course I wouldn't) sentences starting with..  "Dat be some serious.."  today..

Believe me I know slang all right!  I live in the Ghetto, seriously!

I remember growing up we had words like:

Fresh, Stupid Fresh, Dope, Bad, Fierce...

Now it's like:

Shizzle, Hott, Banging, Ice....

What is this world coming to?

Night Dani,   there's something very wrong when we live in a world where "stupid fresh" takes a backseat to "Hott and shizzle", yet I'm just stating the obvious !  It's indicative of all we see happening around us !
