I know someone that uses this unit for hom use. It does not have a key changer, just the pitch control. There is an American Audio rack mountable dual player that includes the key changer. I have no experience or knowledge regarding that brand or specific model.

According to their website, it does have a key changer. The KMX01 does not. I too am interested in this model, and would love to hear feedback on it. Thanks!

we bought this unit in sept 07 and have had trouble with it recently. it won't read discs on the right hand side, and it frequently skips discs, although not karaoke ones as of yet. its a pain in the bum cos sometimes it takes ten or fifteen mins to read a disc so you keep havin to talk while putting another song on same side on. we are in the process of sending it back, and i am hoping its just ours with the problem and not that its a design flaw or something, but its been a real pain at times. people are not happy when there tunes start skipping !!!

Thanks for the info....i think i'll pass on that player for now!
My current vocopro (i know) double cd/cdg player is starting to skip on one side even though it's only 4 months old. I bought it because it was the only double player i could find that was rack-mountable, as i deejay alot also.......vocopro is junk. But y'all knew that already.

Check ebay. I've seen quite a few pro quality dual CD/Karaoke players. Not Vocopro. Numark I think. You can also get a dual CD/Karaoke player with a built in mixer for around $269 + shipping. Some of the dual players were factory reconditioned and some were new.

Hey! It's okay until the power cord decides to burn out and then you cannot get a replacement for it, cause they no longer carry it.....other than that, it was okay but I wouldn't suggest it. That's why I have now gone to laptop and LUV LUV LUV it!!!!!

This post caught my eye so figured I'd throw in my ![2 cents :2cents:](./images/smilies/twocents.sml.gif) regarding Numark.
Way back, they were known for their DJ mixers, and they probably should have stayed with just that format. I have a cdn 25+g and at first it was fine, then the LEFT side refused to acknowledge ANY discs. Sent it back twice, got two replacements, finally had to send the CEO a certified letter along with the last replacement, explaining my "displeasure" with "his" product. I've had the one that HE made sure was operating properly for just over a year now, and it's been beat near to death and just won't quit. I guess you just have to be a little "resourceful" to get satisfaction from the manufacturers. Two KJ friends of mine got the kmx02. One's had nothing but problems, the other is very pleased with his. Since pioneer quit making their players, we're all really at the mercies of the remainder of the people still making players. And VocoPro......don't even go there!!!!!
Ok, ranted enough, time for bed.

thats very interesting to her that one has problems and onedoes not, i hve just rung where i ought it (online ukdj) and they are going to look at it but said they haven't had any other complaints. I know the kmx02 is slightly cheaper than other all in ones but it should still do what it says in the tin...
