A few months ago, there was companys that would sell the whole Sound Choice song database. I can't find any of these now. What happened. Does anyone know of anyone doing this now?It would have to be in MP3+G format, and be on a USB hard drive. The price should include the HD.

Well because it's completely illegal, hopefully every one of those pirate companies are doing time behind bars!

Wow, you must be a very rich person. Something like that, legally, would cost over maybe $20,000? Perhaps more. The reason they are not around anymore, and why you would never get an answer from this forum, is that something like is more likely to be illegal and most of the people here depends on legit equipment to stay in business. Their livelihood is depending on it. I would caution against posting questions like that in the future unless you are serious and have tons of cash to burn.

Sound choice is not selling even single songs as in standard MP3+CDG formats.

Based on the rates they charge for single songs it would be about $4 a song or about $50-60 k for their whole catalogue...

IF they sold it that way.

BUT they dont.

If something seems too good to be true then its either illegal or a scam. I have seen periodic listings on auction sites for deals like these but they never stay listed very long.

there's a reason for that. They call it "turn and burn" type of selling... because the sellers KNOW that it'd illegal and are trying to stay below the manu's radar. All it takes is a complaint from a manufacturer, and ebay or some other auction site, pulls the listing. If they put it up there in a day, or over the weekend, then they can sell them quickly and get away with it... for the meantime. But the manus are taking notes of this stuff, and turning it into their investigators.

There've been some pretty good publicized gotchas from people that have sold lots of these types of things. It's not been pleasant what's happened to these guys!
