On my browser, that gray overlay goes away after a few seconds once the site has completely loaded. You can also Google 'Stephenville Ufo' and get lots of hits from different sites.

Here's another supposedly related link to this Stephenville siting that I found linked off of Google regarding a prophecy. The coincidence is somewhat striking.

Is it possible Steven Kaplan is an alien? Perhaps that would explain all his posts?
Any opinions on what kind of beer the aliens drink? Myself, I am enamored with Warsteiner Dunkel lately.

funny they had all sorts of "credible" witnesses...a constable, military personell, pilots, etc.....but no one has any footage of the incident.
conversly, there was a sighting right here close to home above lake travis with photographic evidence. unfortunately, the evidence is far from convincing. one pic shows a black spot in the clouds directly in front of the sun. anyone with any photography sense knows that if you points a digitla camera directly at the sun you will get a black spot from the bunr inside the camera. there is another pic of a bright light taken when the camera is aimed at the water. this is clearly a reflection off the widnshield of a boat.

That first pic looks a bit interesting as it shows something beside just the black horizontal rectangle, but like you say I suppose could be a digital cam artifact. The second one is obviously (IMO) a reflection from a vehicle of some sort on the surface (likely the mirror reflection from a boat). The part that gives it away is the wake on the water behind it similar to the other boats nearby.
Note also the guy didn't notice these when he took the pictures. It was after the fact that he thought something was odd - so I'd so extremely low chance of true UFO.
