Hi folks,
I was reading a lot on this forum and finally decide to join you guys.
Anyhow, here's the matter:
I just bought a brand new in a box Crown Amplifier XS500. Right after ordering it, I realized, that it's not sufficient for my speakers. So I'm reselling it.
The specs for the amp:

Power Output (Xs500):
2-ohm Dual (per ch.): 750W
4-ohm Dual (per ch.): 500W
8-ohm Dual (per ch.): 400W
4-ohm Bridge: 1600W
8-ohm Bridge: 1450W
Like I said, brand new in a box, never opened!
Crown is know for quality amps, so this is a good deal, if the Power Output fits your needs.

I bought it on ebay.
And just so you know, I don't want to make money on it. I'm willing to give it to the new owner for the same price, I got it. (plus shipping)

Not a bad price. WOuldn't mind picking it up myself, but can't at this time.
400 watts per side was too low for your cabs, what are you running? Get a sub & run it bridged :D

I just took a dive and bought 2 EV SX500+. Great Speakers!
Yeah, I know... the price is great! So come on people. This is indeed a great amp!
If nobody is interested, I might do that @ Subs. Thanks for the idea!

Actually don't know if you run mono, if you parallel both those cabs to a 4 ohm load & bridge the amp, the power output is right in line with what the speakers program rating would be at 4 ohms. _________________ LIKE Lonman on Facebook - Lonman Productions Karaoke & my main site via my profile!

There's a round about "Jaco". Anyone know if Burton Cummings is referring to the late Jaco Pastorius ? I didn't know the two even knew one-another.
