Good day,

Our company designs and installs dedicated home theater and media rooms. One of our clients has about 400-500 karaoke discs which he would like to store and manage. We already have an Escient Management System in place handling his DVD / CD / MP3 collections so he likes the concept of centralized storage. We are wondering if we could receive recommendations for such server / jukebox that will handle his karaoke collection. It would be nice if it was rack mountable and remotely controlled either by IR, RF or RS232. Lastly, our existing management system which is currently in place, has an "auto look-up" feature that retrieves albumn art / artist info / track names / genre - from Gracenotes.......does anything like this exist for karaoke management? We dread entering song info manually.....

Thank you in advance!! Everyone's time is appreciated.

My attachment may not have gone through.  It appears the Media Jukebox will need one of the compatible HDs in your central PC to avoid manual loading, song by song.
Here are the Web addresses of the attachments I was trying to send.  NATO

I think he's asking for a central "disc" jukebox since that is what he inquired about.

The VocoPro Media Jukebox can act as a central "disc" jukebox, but separately for Karoake CDs.  This way, the owner/singer(s) can maintain music key-shift capability.

If your looking for an actual CD+G solution, you might consider a 400 disc player like the Sony DVP-CX995V

You can hook this to a VocoPro Decode G1 CD+G decoder:

and have a total programmable remote system that will hook to any system.

I used multiple Pioneer 300 disk players before I switched to computer. It worked great, but eventually got to be too much to haul around. This could work great for a home system though.
