Good Morning, could someone tell us newer & newbies which days are set up for which songs, I've seen Metal Mondays, and now Show Tune Saturdays. Which other days are set up. Thanks ....Tom

Not that I am aware. There used to be a weekly theme before which was good, but for some reason it was discontinued.

There are no rules that I know of. I've seen all types of songs subed on every day of the week even on Metal Monday. You should be able to sub what you want, when you want to.

You could go with "Wannabee Wednesdays". I was gonna go with that but thought some of my singers might be insulted being called wannbes. You gotta be so damn politically correct these days. But  then after nights named "suck azz singer sunday" and "miserable monotone monday", I guess mine is pretty tame.

Tom honey aside from Metal Monday which caught on, the others are simply figments of others imaginations. Metal Monday is the only one that folk tried and the majority liked. it is not mandatory hon. Sub whatever you like

...Truthfully haven't met a Brit that can sing a lick! They are known for overtipping the kj after drinking fishbowls and shots all night though!

JUST THAT?  sounds a bit boring....why not add everything including your name and try to set yourself APART from the doofus' using illegal means and running terrible shows?

"Karaoke" is just the TYPE of entertainment offered and is typecast too often. Develop a name and a faithful following based on a great show i say!  :oh yeah:

the comment about snide comments was not directed at you. Tom Tom is a new member, to ridicule someone who is finding their way around is not in the best of taste, especially when he had asked a reasonable question

I was making a point about how many on here seem to think that everyone (singers) should be willing to except that everyone in the bar should be drunk and able to swear like sailors or they are not welcome.

Making fun of people that are coming out to put money in your pocket night after night is not right.  Expecting people to be in an atmosphere of out of control drunks, where F bombing continuously is right and anyone that doesn't like it can leave.  This would be acceptable in the seedy part of town.  I just want to know where everyone is playing and how close to the slum area, we are talking about.

I have played many bars where people have fun night after night without all of this.

It's a bar not a heroin den, full of prostitutes and killers.

I play in places where you don't have to commit a crime to get past the front door.  And respectable people are welcome and considered normal.   Loud mouth, F bombing drunks are abnormal.
