Keith,  Welcome to the club !  I get about one a year.  This years was from Ollie though,  he had a seizure and pressed the wrong button.  I accidently pressed yours last year as you recall and PM'd you and the mods asking them to remove it due to my idiocy when I got your ban button confused with my edit button during a non-lucid moment

Funny thing is,  Many people believe they remain anonymous when they press the ban button .   I don't worry about those anymore,  I decided to expedite the process and ban myself.  That way I don't have to wait for others to get satisfaction.

Is the ban button different than a report button?   Where is the ban button?

There has been very people in my life that knew how or which button to push. In which case it involved karma and real life. Click your left button on your mouse 1000 times if you want!! The ban button is directly under List the users who have viewed this topic and neither one is labeled.

Jerry, Ollie and I are getting old..


     They should really put others ban buttons in a safer location where we can't hurt ourselves, or others with them.  Those dang buttons are too close to our own edit buttons, and our friends profile buttons.  I know it's tough for you youngun's to understand how "Tourettes of the Mouse" progresses with age .

Nah seriously.. I haven't even been around much, but abuse of the "ban" button is bad for overall morale.  Just not a good thing to be pushing (deliberately that is).  I outgrew ban button "trigger finger" around my first star !  Congrats on your first ban btw !!   I calculated that around every 5000 posts I say something that causes somebody to press my ban button. Other occurances that lead to my ban button getting pushed are of more of a medical nature and the individual that pushes the button can't actually be held responsible for his/her action at the time.

"You are about to issue Steven Kaplan a black card, or ban vote do you want to procede" !   Naturally I did !!!!   (Usually it states that "you can not vote to ban yourself")...  Let me check my Email and see my newest ban bote



Hey mods ?  Is this some new "Right of Passage" a person earns after 12K posts ?  The priviledge to ban themselves ?

With your kind of post count, there is no way you can vote yourself out of existence , even if you vote after every post you make . Did you not try to banned yourself and still can post. ( ref to your title)

True Jian,  Like I stated earlier I'm getting old and forgetting these things.  I even forgot that I've been banned for over a year now ! (or has it only been since the spring?).  Anyway I changed my banned color to "winter white", this way it's easier for me to notice and recall I'm banned which enables me to spend more time practicing not being able to sing.

It also jumps around and relocates itself at the most inopportune times.  You might be trying to edit a post, and suddenly in a fraction of a second, the ban button jumps in front of your edit button.  Just be careful ~

Oy,  I was trying to click on the Emoticom creator button, and I think I might've accidently banned administration   Who knew ?  The buttons are the same shade of grey, roughtly the same size, pattern and in almost the same location
