Does anyone know of a free (not free trial), software CD+G player, that will run full screen on extended desktop on computer?

Knightshow,

How do you get WinAmp to play CD+G from a disk?

I've never tried it.

I have the old version 2.8, when I put the new version in it went all funky on me.

Yes, Media Player does have a cd+g plugin available but I've found it unstable and inconsistent at best.  WinAmp is much more reliable.

Agree sugah, it seems they didn't appropriately update all the plugins when they kept coming out with new versions of WinAmp

Ok, I've spent a considerable amount of time on this in the last few days and I would NOT recommend Karafun. It caused my computer to crash without warning for no clear reason.

The two programs I have had the most success with are:

1.autokj plugin for winamp

2.Free Karaoke Player from Tricerasoft

Both work great, both are relatively stable, both are free.

The Tricerasoft program is easier to learn and use but has a few less features.

If Karafun didn't cause my computer to crash I would recommend it too.

I've used karafun, and it's never crashed... on xp and 2000pro machines. Is your antivirus runnin as well? I guess more info would be welcome, as you don't mention how much memory you have installed, other programs in use, etc.

Also, for the record, I use winamp without any other programs, and it's an older version. 2.8 I think. I love it for STRICTLY karaoke playing. I don't use any kind of hosting software, as I don't NEED it or particularily WANT anything that complex.
