Steve, it's " always turn the other cheek"  not  "show"!

I've been over in SingSnap doing the stuff that most baritone range non-singers should attempt..  Like Journey,  Aerosmith,  my friggin god this stuff is not doable, so naturally, I'm doing it... Cuz I'm just a dumb xit like that LMAO..  How the heck does Steve Tyler pull this stuff off year after year...  He's not naturally a 1st tenor is he ?  or does he just make a smooth transition into falsetto.. Yet that makes no sense, because nothing about his rasp is "smooth"...  OK,  I think I'm coughing up blood,  which means.... Time to do Smokey Robinson, and Earth Wind and Fire, the lower stuff...

C-ya   <cough>

Somewhat Vicki,  People are PM'ing though, seems they are curious as to why you're wearing a necktie in that photo.  Although I might be incorrect,  I just responded with,  Likely auto-erotic behaviour.

Don't forget Ah-a and Leo Sayer, blood usually shoots out of every orifice I have after I do those songs! By the way why do some people think Journey is campy, I love their music, some of the best belly rubbin rock music out there.

Just to backup that there are NO limits to the extent of my self-deprecating humor..

Here  ~(and I just woke up to hit the bathroom too,  see what can happen with a computer too close?)

(first take, yeah yeah,  I need to warmup my voice so I can get abit of the higher register, still froggy and deep)

<Oh no,  Do guys get something like a molar when they hit 50 ?    I just noticed that a third testicle has descended,  or is this some Newtonian "Equal and Opposite reaction" to that song I just tried   >

OK, that was funny, but it took way too much thinking on my part to finally get it, could you be funnier on a simpler level, or I am going to have to stop reading your post as they are giving me a headache!

You make me feel like dancin, I wanna dance the night away,

Why No Hun,  I certainly didn't !   You owe me 99 cents for the shoebox card, but don't worry about the stamp cost,  I'll throw that in for the $5 charge (for my time) making a trip to the post office for you.   Since afterall,  this IS about romance :doctor:

Hey,  It's just the hopeless romantic I am !

I think I'm doing everything I can do wrong, wrong Lena,  and what's scary is some of it is sounding decent to me... Bee Gee's seems to work,  and some of the other higher stuff seems to work now, BUT... I have a wicked sore throat, and in all likelihood, that stuff sounds horrid, I'm just the only one that can't tell..  I'm trying to sing what I want, not just within a certain range...

(I think what I didn't hurt being a musician years back, I'm going to have a chance at hurting now while developing my 32 octave singing range)

Back to working on the Whistle tones in the Minnie Ripperton song I'm covering. Too bad I can't transpose her down a semi-tone,  It'd be a cinch !!!

Believe me,  I've spent hours with mirrors trying to figure out how to do this.  It's not logical though.  Despite what I've been told, when "the other cheeck" turns, the adjacent cheek follows !!   I'm not ambidextrous, I can't coordinate my cheeks to turn independently of one-another...  So this is what I figure.  Since cheeks are both side by each,  You can't turn one assuming you opt to show the other.  Granted,  This is only theory, until disproven !  So I've decided to compromise in a manner that precludes both the showing or turning asspects..  I keep my cheeks  on the computer chair behind my lap while typing in chatrooms all day !!

I figured I could use that to my advantage for Rod Stewart and Brian Adams covers :dancin:

OK,  I'm too lazy to click on You Tube and check this out, but does Burton Cummings (The Guess Who) vocalist sing in a high register with a stronger timbre that makes his vocals appear somewhat lower than they actually are ?   Or does he have a lower voice with a timbre that makes his vocals appear to be in a higher register than they are... Not sure... but OUCH...  I think I popped something  :(

btw, the SC "Guess Who" backings are quite enjoyable IMHO.  Well,  not that this is a good thing of course for us wannabe's

While I don't quite consider myself a Doctor Ruth, or "Ask Marilyn" type.  I love solving human relations riddles !!!

Recently I saw this Poll

"When is the best time to give the first kiss?"

Now maybe I'm somewhat of a conservative,  but my thoughts were "after the other person knows that you exist".  There are logical reasons for this too, BTW !

<Pssst !  Hey Jerry ?   What are you wearing?>
Have you started accessorizing for the spring yet ?  I need to get my wardrobe out've the storage area this weekend, OY !  The shoes, matching handbags, what an arduous task

Right after the roofie kicks in!

Okay, after a great date would be a good time. If the car hasn't come to a complete stop and she's already opening the door to get out, your probably not getting that first kiss.
