For years I have run a 2 unit comp with delata44 sound Latest is 3.2 MB 800 FSB in the bottom of the rack. For a year or two the backup has been a laptop Compaq Presario 5115. With my system there is no audible difference in sound quality.
Recently on ebay I got a 120GB 2.5" hard drive. It will be squeezing it but I can get the KJ DJ library on it. I am tired of hauling the heavy 2 unit around. If you are interested it is one of the most efficient DAWS around It has a SATA 160 GB HDD with XP Home. I would part with it for about a grand. It is a custom 17" which will fit most standard racks. no music.. It is a highly tuned DAW that is for music only.
