I will have my first larger Karaoke Party in 2 weeks and, of course, I do not have too much music for this. And I also have no idea what people actually will request. So my plan is to download the requested songs from Tricerasoft during the session.

I know that this is quite risky, but it is "just" my birthday party with maybe 30 people, so the risk is limited.

Anyway - I don´t want people to surf the Internet and search directly on the Tricerasoft website. Surprisingly they do not offer a full list of title and artist for downloading  :-(

Hm... I found a way to get the list anyway, deleted double entries, changed the capital written titles ("A GIRL LIKE YOU") into first letter capital words ("A Girl Like You") and put everything in an excel spreadsheet.

If you are interested in this, you can download it here:

http://www.e-all.de/tricerasoft_jan2008.zip   (~200kB)

Just to make it clear: These are NOT the music files. It is just name and artist of any record (9.543) they are currently offering to buy for 99 ct if you take a 100 title package.

Wow, thanks! I was spending a lot of time going through their list one page at a time. This will save me some time and make it a lot easier to go over what they have that I want to buy. You da man Wolfie! All Hail Wolfgang! Don't you wonder why Tricerasoft doesn't make it easier?

I really asked myself why they don´t offer it... If I would not have this list,

a) I would have no way to put a title book on my party
b) people would not find the song they would like
c) I would not buy any song from them.

So... either they have a bad marketing person there or I miss something...

Wolfgang

They have a database of all their songs so it would be easy for them to make a list available.

Right. But it was not too hard for me either ;-)

Let me guess -- Perl? Python? I am a Perl guy -- what you can do with WWW::Mechanize or LWP is pretty amazing. 8-)

Thanks I, I find it a great help...
Comparing my 3000 song wish list to what they sell is a major pain.

Any interest in doing the same for buykaraokedownloads or select a track?
