Hi Can someone advise me on this problem I have ripped my laser pioneer discs in full Mpeg quality off my laser discs, but when I played them through my Laptop
There was no sound, (volume settings were ok) Yet ripped the same discs and changed the format to VCD no problem, so I tried to do the same on my home PC and the full Mpeg played upside down and back to front and music fine, then played VCD no problem everything ok. read instructions and it stated compatable with mpeg, so can anyone advise me on what I am doing wrong please, many thanks

If you have volume on the vcd, sounds like a codec is needed for the mpg.

will it play with Windows media player?

You could try downloading Karafun and playing it on that.

Check your windows volume settings. Sometimes other volumes are reduced due to other program settings. double click the speaker icon on the lower right part of the screen, or go into START, All Programs, Accessories, Entertainment, and Volume Control.

As for Swift Elite help, you need to go to the website that sells the swift elite, and ask them!

Thanks for that, I thought that also. that I may need a codec, because it does play on window media player, and all the volume settings are ok.
If anyone else has any idea Please post it here, once again thanks for taking the time to read and answer my query.
