Hi everyone my name is Jerry. I’m a Texas Cajun that now lives in Tennessee. But I mainly stay in a state of confusion. But I have paid enough attention that I sold my Behringer EURORACK UB1222FX and bought a Mackie CFX12 mkII Mixer and I’m so glad I did.
Thank you guys!

Hi Jerry, welcome to the site.  What are differences you notice with the Mackie?  I have a UB1222FX and am just curious!

Cheers,
Murray

a very warm welcome to you Jay...wow I am so looking forward to trying cajun cuisine when I visit the states. It was to be May and a gathering was planned for the smokey mountains...sadly that is on hold due to a stupid injury...anyway do you need points? I think I shall flick you some so you can go to the forum shop

Hi Murrlyn, the UB1222FX is an easy mixer to use and I liked it very much. But the monitor jack when out and I was going to just get another one. But I wanted to add a sub and the Mackie seemed the best way to go. Now with sub I can get more separation between the music and vocals making the vocals sound more natural. My good singers now sound amazing. I do believe the quality of Mackie mixer to be better.

Welcome Jerry.  :handshake:  You sound like a kj, 'cause I don't know the first thing about kj equipment.  LOL

West Tennessee? Memphis? I've been there on the job before. The tornado stuff scared the hell outta me! So did the huge bug that scattered when I checked into a hotel and started to pull down the bed covers.  LMAO

I must've lived a sheltered life.....not hardly though.  LOL

Hi PCornell   I have been a KJ only since 2006 but it is something that love to do.

The tornado stuff scares the hell outta me too. The last few years have been really bad. I'm from southeast Texas and tornados don't really happen down there. But the bugs are worst.

Jerry
