Thanks. Yes, I'm looking for compilation disks. The Soundchoice Billy Joel disk that Lonman suggested has more songs on one disk that I actually want than any other disk I've ever seen. I wish more disks had more songs that we want and less filler songs.

my pioneer lazers and cdgs for Elton and Billy Joel! LOL!

Seriously though, I still like them, and supplement with SC.

I'm surprised that you recommended Backstage sidewinder. I have 2 Backstage disks, a Cat Stevens and a Simon and Garfunkel. Not very good musically IMO. After that I won't buy anymore Backstage disks. They were real inexpensive, but what I need right now is the best quality I can get. The Billy Joel and Elton John are for me, for backing tracks, I'm not going to scrimp on them, they will make me some money. I even look a little like Billy Joel, LOL.

I will say that of all the backstage discs, the Eagles and Billy Joel are the best of the bunch! Not that I think they compare to more superior versions... but they are pretty good. AND I've had customers prefer them, as they're used to them for their home singing. They knew the timing, singers keys, everthing, so it was easier for them to sing to a less superior version... as they knew it!

Of course the Elton John SC 8134 is EXCELLENT but it appears that it's discontinued!

Pocket Song JTG 205 is another good double cd, it's got some very good songs like Blessed, Can You Feel The Love Tonight, Nikita and The one, which are just has good as SC, if not better!

Billy Joel: Pocket Song JTG 206 double cd, a great choice!

there's a FEW Music Maestro I like... but it's ultra hit and miss... Considering the vast amount of discs in the Music Maestro collection, that's not saying much.

Absolutely BS 9117.

I have recommended this disc over and over on this forum and always someone who has not even heard it has some opinion.  I have compared every track on it to the original and in its entirety it is the most reliable as to the lyrics and tempo.  The swipes are right on and the backgrounds are pretty right-on.  And, believe me, BS is not the only copies I have of Billy Joel tracks.

You can get quality for less $ at times.  Grab this disc.

Hamsamwich, however, didn't like his copy of BS9117 and I bought his copy from him since I needed another copy.

I fully agree with you, the song "My Life" is very well done and is so identical to the original! This cdg is a must for any Joel fan :D
