A laser printer toner cartridge can be refilled very reasonably on Ebay. However at a certain point the toner cartridge is going to fail or the drum unit is going to fail. To replace this can cost $30-100's  dollars. It also depends upon whether you are talking monochrome or color drum

I recently bought a toner cartridge on Ebay At Office depot they are a lot higher.link

Not that I know of M8. Send some over here.. I will pay the shipping.

I will pay Paypal $30 for working monocrome  & $75 for color laser printers.. First time you send me one that is junk the deal is over. I deal through Paypal only.

I bought my Laser brand new from newegg for about a hundred. The toner has lasted me all year on the nominal printing I do. We JUST replaced it this week as my lady's been working at home (her office is closed due to some security issues), and she has to print all her invoices. They paid for a new toner cartridge, and sent it the next day.

I can't stress enough how inexpensive those cartridges are for the lifeline of the unit!!

Just out curiosity Matt what brand did you get? I've used the Brother HL 2040 for 2-3 years and love it.  If you get a paper jam just pop the front top cover and pull the toner cartridge. The paper almost falls out by itself. Then I like the duplex mode so you can print both sides.

They are doing a nasty now.
They chip the Toners to last for so many prints.
After the print count has been reached the Toners fail...
even if half full.

The older lasers are better because with a hole in the top of the Toner cart and tape,
you can just keep on refilling.

It's a Samsung printer. LOVE it! And yeah, the jam clearing is the same way!
