My roots are in Canada (born in Revelstoke) and have a sister in Prince George. But I've been south of that border for almost 30 years now...30 miles north of Seattle, quick jump to the Canadian border.

Matt a few years ago we went through Lexington on the way to Branson. We took a small boat tour on the river. There is a Wellington a few miles upriver. My ex has relatives in Richmond north of you and some farther north in Knoxville. I love that country down there.

Hi, We are from western Pennsylvinia, north of Pittsburgh. Yes it's cold here, No it's not smokie anymore after all the steel mills closed down. Lots of places to sing in.

New Zealand. Was intending on visitin USA in May but its put on hold due to a pending operation...so maybe Charmin we can get a party organised for next year and I can come too? You're still in charge of the sleeping arrangements btw

I'm thinking we need to throw a karaoke konvention maybe in the fall sometime - we could all use a write off - find some real know-how people who know a lot about music/mixing/equipment/marketing (I have several people in mind already) - some professional performers who would love to come and give some pointers, etc., etc. Near Seattle? Takers?

I might be able to do it if it were on a Monday or Tuesday. I would be very interested if those of you who are using a hosting program brought it along and demoed it. I'd like to know if I'm missing something by just using a player. I wouldn't be as interested in the pro sound and vocal end of it.
I also belong to a musician's keyboard discussion group. It's also a worldwide group but probably 1/3 of the members are from the PNW. Kind of like here. I'm not sure what that means. Maybe we Pacific Northwesterners are on computers more and not in the real world as much as the rest of the country. Or something. I dunno...

I agree with Karen. It's the weather. Fishing in the rain is lots of fun, but staying inside to play on the computer keeps the sniffles at bay;)

Yeah, the PNW weather keeps us indoors a little more than most! Although the past month has been beautiful! People at work have already used up all their "sick" days, coincidentally on sunny days
Not me (grin) :)
I'm down for a Konvention or get-together in Seattle or Portland or ??
