Someone came up with Whitney Houston's "I Wanna Dance With Somebody" on a slip last Sat. It caught me off guard. No one ever does Whitney Houston in my room.
Naturally I didn't have it. I've got more holes in my book than swiss cheese....
So I'm looking for it today and found out that the newest release is on an AI karaoke disc. That's got to be it. It must have been on the show recently. The young lady who wanted to sing it probably was still in diapers when it came out.
Anyone else seeing songs unusual to your room because they've been featured on American Idol?

Not yet, Bill, but I'm sure wishing that the version of Billy Jean done by the young dude rocker (I believe it was a Chris Cornell version) would come out - I have the perfect young dude singer who could nail it. Best singing I've ever heard done on AI IMO.
