Anyone can ASK to see ID , only a few can demand to see it.  Maybe he has a rule that no minors can sing ..?    All in all I don't see a big deal with it as long as he is not recording or writing down any information from your ID ..That to me would be a big RED FLAG

In washington , just thought I would let you know that it is the Liquor Control Board State Law that Quote: "All staff in any establishment are required to verify I.D and legal age before selling or serving any alcoholic beverages"

Also : " Employees are required to verify legal age of any occupant in bar"

Meaning that the police are obviously not employed by any bar, how many police officers do you see bartending or bouncing at the door???

Silly, silly, silly....

Any bar staff - Not KJ's or DJ's , but the actual bar staff CAN demand ID any time.
