Ok so I have a couple songs on my computer CD+G MP3 format.

I want to put them on a disc and bring them to karaoke. This guy has a real player doesn't use a laptop.

My question is will my disc work in his player just by burning the CD+G and MP3 to the disc or is there something special I need to do?

Hi,

If your drive can Read and Write CDG, you can put them on a disc.
What kind of player does that guy have? If it's a regular Karaoke
player, it will play your disc.

Kind Regards,

DEPENDS... some players have a hard time recognizing burns. Most of the newer ones are okay, but I've seen some RSQs in the past that had problems with some burns... also older players that won't recognize some different type of burned discs (the black phono types)... But MOSTLY, you should be okay.

If it can read CD+G, it can read a CD+G(R)

If you burn the files to the disc using general purpose burning software (like Nero) then 99% of the players will not be able to read the disc. You need to create CD+G disc with software like Power CD+G Burner to be able to take it to the show with you.

YEP,

Good Point! For Karaoke, I only use Nero for SCDG.

Kind Regards,
