Ok I have mtus hoster & KHPro..never used KHPro to make my own cdg but would like to know how, any of you familiar with this ? There is a song that I have a backing track for but want to make it a karaoke song as I suck at timing & really want to sing this song. I want the timing to be right but really dont have a clue how to use KHPro. I'll be reading up on some of it in the MTU forums too but any help from you all will be appreciated :)

Ms Kelly,

ALWAYS MAKE A COPY TO PRACTICE WITH!
KHPro has an excellent Sync'ing feature.
As with any software, it takes time and patience to get use to it.
It is a Pain-In-The Neck; :madgo:

The Trick is learning how to Code your Lyrics!
Separate syllables with: / or _
Join syllables with: - or *

Advanced Coding: Use invisible characters
Alt Key + numbers

Sync'ing:
After loading Audio and Text... Start the song.
As each word or syllable is highlighted, Hold Down the Space Bar.
Release the Space Bar when the word or syllable is at its end.
Read the help guide to learn how to fine tune and adjust sync.

By the time I finish a song, I'm tired of that song already. LMAO

If you really Love that song...... CONCENTRATE

In Time, you'll complete a song in 4 to 5 minutes.

Happy Tapping,
sw00000p

 I’m not trying to hijack the thread, but my question kind of fits in here.  Is there anyway to change the graphics, (words) on a karaoke song?  I have some music that I know the words aren’t correct, and would make them right, if I could.

you could rebuild the karaoke graphics (.cdg) file... if you had the right software. It's certainly not something you can do a quick fix on.

I don't know of a software package that would let you go in and change the graphics quickly and easily, say for timing errors or wrong lyrics. Most of the time, you just take your audio file, and rebuild the graphics part... and as it's such a pain to do, most wouldn't think of it!

knightshow,
I agree with you on the difficulty of Quickly changing lyrics,
BUT - You can Quickly repair Timing errors with CDGFix!
If you know what your doing.

sidewinder,
IMO Vogone is Better than the rest.  Perfect - Not Even Close!

Ms BlueRose,
The sooner you start TAPING, the sooner you'll finish!
After studying the rhythm of a track and CODING the Lyrics,
I can create ANY Song, Fast or Slow, in 5 minutes or Less.
KB STUDIOS!

I cannot remove the vocalsl worth a darn, but I can create it Quickly.

So... if you have a "Backing Track," KB Studios will produce a Perfect Customized Track.
Choose All Colors, insert graphics or Logos anywhere on the screen,
move ALL text (45 degrees if you wish), and create an AVI Video with a
Transparent Background. Load this into a Video Editor and create Video Karaoke.

Kind Regards,
sw00000p

So youre saying if I have a backing track & give you the lyrics you could make a karaoke track in five minutes  or less ?? Is KB Studios the name of a program or the name of your company ? Anyways, If you can do this Id like to talk to you some more...Id rather it take 5 minutes than 5 days or more if I do it myself LOL..Thanks for your input :)

Oooh My,

Ms Kelly... as knightshow stated, "Most of the time, you just take your audio file, and rebuild the graphics part... and as it's such a pain to do, most wouldn't think of it!

KB Studios is a Karaoke Creator that I've purchased!
I'm simply trying to answer your question about KHPro and letting you
know what program I use.

What I'm saying is if you have a backing track,
YOU can create it with KHPro or KB Studios.

Sorry, I don't create songs for anyone.
That's illegal
.

Kind Regards,
sw00000p

the illegal factor IS something to be concerned about. How much is up to you. Do you really think that SC or CB is going to bust you for redoing their graphics file IF you bought and paid for it?? It's a toss of the dice, really. The purists would tell you oh heck no...

the five minute charge is a bit ummm too much to take, but I have done in Karake Builder Studio in about 25 minutes, and that included the initial splash screen I built up in microsoft paint, and then converted it as a loaded image for the file.

I don't know anything about the 45 degrees either.

I've also messed around a bit with cdgfix... it was way more trouble than it was worth.

Sorry knightshow for not clarifying the 5 minute track.
Total preparation could easily be 30 minutes.
I meant once I've coded the lyrics and studies the rhythm...
I could Tap away and get it sync'd in 5 minutes.
I have 2 years of tapping experience.
After the initial Sync = 99% Correct.
1 of 2 quick adjustments = Done.

As for the 45 degree lyric line in KB Studios...
You can grab the beginning or end of a track and
move it up or down. Creating a variety of angled text.
Or you could bend the last word of a title Down.
Which would resemble a broken or bent scene.

Yea, CDGFix is Quite Challenging! Definitely Not For Everyone!
Took me a good 6 months to get use to it.
Now I've nearly mastered it.
I've gotten my $70.00 worth, 10x.

Kind Regards,
sw00000p

knightshow,

What part of CDGFix did you find was way more trouble than it was worth.
Conversions, CDG Repair, Masks, or the Text Editor?
Or all of the above.

I would be more than happy to help ya.

Kind Regards,
sw00000p

Wow, I didn't know that about kb studio! I wonder if it's not on the 2.0 version I have.

As for cdgfix... again, it wasn't enough of a pain to bother, as I only had a couple of cruddy graphics problems. no worries, but thanks for the offer!
