So here is the question. What is one karaoke song that you have never heard anyone sing, but that you'd really like to hear someone sing?

Sail On Sailor - Beach Boys. I think I heard this 1 or 2 times in 15 years.

It used to be "Another Saturday Night" by Sam Cooke, until SC released it in Sept 2006 for the first time. And that one I had really wanted to sing.
I would now be most interested in hearing someone do "You'll Never Find", by Lou Rawls, at my show

I would love to hear " Any way you want it " by Journey, actually I would love to hear anything by Journey done well. That dudes range is so high it's hard for anyone to do their songs. We have one guy that fronts a local band that can actually pull their songs off, but he rarely comes in. His nickname is Journey Ernie.

You're kidding right? Well, maybe not in your room I dunno...
I can't think of anything that I'd like to hear that's never been sung. If the room isn't doing it I'll try to pick it up myself.
There's one song - "I Miss You" (Blink 182) that's only been done once or twice by a regular that I just love. I can't do it. It's too moody. The few times I sing I've got to keep the mood up.
That's why he doesn't do it either. But it's a gorgeous song.
There are some things that's never been sung because they aren't available on karaoke but that's another topic.

I've sung "Barracuda", but I had the kj put it in a lower key. It worked out pretty well. I've only heard one other person sing it for karaoke.
I can think of approximately 1,000,000,000 songs I would love to hear someone sing for karaoke. 2 that come to mind immediately are "How Long" by Ace and "Town Without Pity" by Gene Pitney. I _might_ attempt those myself sometime if I can get the kj to put them in a different key. (Not all kj's have key changing devices, and not all of them carry the same songs, either.)
Oh, btw, for those of you who don't know me, I'm not a kj--just someone who loves singing. I guess this thread was mostly directed at kj's, but I thought I'd chime in w/my opinions anyway.

You don't think it'd go over well? ![Shocked ](./images/smilies/icon_eek.gif) I think it probably would! I'd enjoy it (done well) at any rate!
How about "E.T.I." by Blue Oyster Cult? ![oh yeah :oh yeah:](./images/smilies/emot-woot.gif) Of course, that one is not available, dang it!

there isnt a track for the songs I would like to hear...in fact would like to do...one is an Irish contemporary duet (perhaps this could be a challenge for gnome since he is a karaoke manufacturer in UK) its called in a lifetime and sung by bono of U2 and Marie Brennan of Clannad
the other one is a NZ song called Aire of Good Feeling

That reminds me, I would love to hear someone do " When the Stars go Blue " by Bono and The Corrs, we have it and I actually know the Bono part, I just need to find my Corr.

It goes over great Tad! I've just got a couple of women that sing it a lot that's all. Both are pretty good at this stuff.
