Oh! Ok!
You know, I've been doing karaoke since 1990 in many different venues and areas and I've never heard anyone do "Baracuda". I've heard "Magic Man" on rare occasion, in fact, about three weeks ago a lady did a passable rendition of MM and I made a point to complement her on it.
I see that you are in the Pacific NW area and since the Wilson sisters are from there (aren't they?) I guess that's why you are so blessed...

A lady that used to go to a place I used to go to (LOL) sang this alot. It was kind of her theme song, and she had sultry Norah sounding voice. She did a good job on it. I also heard a guy sing it once! He sang it well too.
My favorite Norah song is Lonestar. I actually bought the CDG for this song, and sang it once. But you know how you get up to the mic and start singing but as you are singing what's really going through your mind is "Gee, this looked good on paper, but in reality, it's not going over that well!." Well, to make a painfully long story mercifully short that was the one time I sang Lonestar. After that I gave the disc to a lady singer who liked Norah.

I've sung that one, and I've heard other people sing it. It usually goes over well.

the other one is a NZ song called Aire of Good Feeling That reminds me, I would love to hear someone do " When the Stars go Blue " by Bono and The Corrs, we have it and I actually know the Bono part, I just need to find my Corr.
you wanna give that duet a go? I grabbed a copy of the orig and I think I could prolly learn it in the orig key or lower whatever is easiest for you

Yeah!!!!! "Some Velvet Morning"!!!! I don't think that's available on a karaoke disc--but I sure hope it will be someday--and that I can find a guy to sing it with me!

Had 4 Heart songs done last night - Barracuda wasn't one of them, however it is one of the songs that get done fairly regular. The others were Dog & Butterfly, Straight On, Dreamboat Annie, Crazy On You.

Us rocker women have a hero in Ann Wilson for sure - I've seen her live a number of times and each time it is a thrill. I LOVE to sing all their stuff. I have a friend who is the ANN of a Heart tribute band locally - saw the ad, referred her, and duh me, lost one of the best singers at my show! Now she's gigging every weekend.
