I just got Club DJ Pro and have the following questions:
1. Can you make the program remember you pitch and tempo settings for a particular song So if I transpose 6 semitones up today, and reopen the software tomorrow to play the same song can I set it up so Club DJ Pro opens the file and auto transposes it?
2. What outputs can I use to run my secondary screen? Can I use S Video? How do I set it up to only show the lyrics window?
I love this software, it is going to cut the time between my songs in half when I'm doing a solo act.
Thanks

Vic,
I have used ClubDJ Pro for 3-4 years now, maybe longer, and will try to answer your questions.
The program does not remember the pitch and tempo settings for a particular song. It has to be adjusted each time you load the song into one of the decks. I am going to double check this on my machines later today and will change my post if I find out otherwise. There are members of the forum who adjust the pitch of songs in another program and then save the track in the new key but you will have to either do a search on the forums or ask in another posting.
You can use S-video, VGA, DVI or whatever video output your laptop or video card has to run your secondary/graphics screen. Make sure the video output (whichever method you use) is plugged in to the TV input source before you bootup your show PC. If your laptop/PC is dual video capable then ClubDJ Pro will detect the secondary monitor and prompt you to enable the secondary monitor if it is not automatically enabled when windows boots up. The main clubDJ Pro interface is what you will see on the DJ monitor and the graphics/videos are automatically shown on the second monitor/TV.
I too love this software. It plays a number of different karaoke, music and video formats with dual players and preview screens for each player. I love the fast search, playlist and request lists, audio and video faders, drag and drop of files to the players or playlists, auto fade, sound sample banks, pitch AND tempo sliders, crossfade audio/video options, one button recording of your mix and webcast if you want. If you run a show that mixes karaoke, video and DJ music sets then this has been the best tool I have found to do it.
Granted, it is NOT a hosting program. It won't calculate your rotation, remember who sang what song and what night they sang it on, no fancy scrolling announcements on the bottom of the screen, won't figure your taxes or do your dry cleaning BUT if you want a great program that has a great video fader engine, dual music players, audio-video-karaoke capability and more, then this program can be a very useful and time saving tool. I no longer have to use multiple programs to do different duties at my show. All my music, videos and karaoke are a drag and drop click of the mouse away.
I am glad you came across clubdj pro 2. As I said earlier, I have used this program for the last several years to run my shows- dj and karaoke, and have had no problems with it. Feel free to ask any other questions that I may be able to answer. Have a great day...

Hi Tig
Thanks for the response, and apologues for the delay in coming back to you.
IT appears that my PITCH and TEMPO sliders are interconnected for some reason. And increase in pitch automatically increases the tempo.
I am also not able to increase pitch and reduce the tempo.
Any thoughts on that?
Thanks

I tried out Club DJ Pro before and that was exactly the reason, why I didn't go with it. Since I only do Karaoke, I needed a program that works better when it comes to key and tempo changes. Other than that, Club DJ Pro is a really nice program. Too bad...

I have no problems with the individual adjustments to key, tempo, speed... works independently for me.
