My dog, Shelby Mustang Jack,(pic below) is a Pomer Rat, a cross between my daughter’s Rat Terrier, Levi Jack and the Pomeranian I used to have named Mercedes.
What would you get if you cross a Pekinese with a Sh*tzu. Easy, you would get a ‘Peekin Atchu.
The censor wouldn't let me actually spell out (Shi*tzu)

If I get started I'll write you a book. Grew up on the farm but had a miniature dachsund for about 15 years He was my fishing buddy and would watch the rod and get excited and let know when we was getting a bite. We hunted pheasants many times.
Now during the holidays he pops in mind and I get the most empty feeling.

I have 3 female dogs ( can't use the b*** word here). I am, at the moment looking after 7 puppies from day one; the mother is still in the vet hospital. I hope when I pick her up this evening, she will still have milk for the puppies.

The last dog I had was a brown and white Brittany Spaniel. Great, friendly dog! He did have a bad car chasing habit though that couldn't be broken.

We always have two "American Breed", which was my mom's euphemism for mutt. Our newest one is a 2-year-old Husky/German Shepherd female.
We lost our 16-year-old lab-spaniel mix a few weeks ago, and are now looking for a replacement. We have a 2-year-old deaf albino Border Collie out on trial right now. He seems like a smart dog, but only can see from one eye and though they said "partial hearing" I don't know what part they are talking about.
As long as we can train him to the Invisible Fence, I think we will keep him. Our 75-year-old neighbors take care of one of our dogs in the summer, with the dog traveling over every day to spend time with them. They can't have pets at their winter home, which is why they have no dog of their own. They used to have the 16-year-old, and were heartbroken when she died. We have to get their approval for the new dog, of course.
We plan on retiring in about 10 years or so, and we don't want to have dogs too much after that (so that we can travel more), so these will probably be our last two.

I have a pound puppy that is half beagle and half weiner. We call him a beaner. And his name is Lucky because we adopted him on Christmas Eve.

I have two VERY friendly...very goofy dogs. A 13-yo Boston Terrier (Muttley) who's kinda the old dude, and a Lab-Sheperd mix about to turn 1 (Scooter) who's basically a gangly teenager
When we got Scooter last summer, he was a little bit smaller than Mutt...now Mutt can walk under him clear...but sometimes, I swear he's convinced he's still a lap puppy

We have an Australian Shepherd named Angel and we are watching my mother-in-law's mini Chihuahua named Rebel. The poor Chihuahua is afraid of our two cats. They are about twice his size.

Jian, How is the mother dog doing with her puppies? I hope everything is going alright. I assume you were having to hand feed the puppies while the mother was still at the vet’s office. I once had 2 female cats that had litters within a couple of days of each other, then one mother was hit by a car. I think there were about 14 or 15 kittens, and the remaining mother couldn’t do it all, so I had to supplement their feeding. Quite a chore. I managed to get them all to weaning stage and found homes for them.

I did have 2 (male and female) golden retrievers. Had to give them away when I moved after a divorce about 10 years ago. I came back to my hometown to raise my daughter and when my dad passed away last year, I took his black chow (female) so that she would have a good home. My mother could not take care of the dog too well because of her physical condition. The chow has been wonderful company. This dog has a wonderful disposition and is nothing more than a huge puppy even though she is roughly 12 years old by human standards. --Mike

Even though they are getting their nourishment from you, if the mother is able to tolerate it, let them try to nurse several times a day, this may bring her milk back in. My older dog Sassy, (now 14 yrs old) before she ever had puppies nursed a kitten and actually started producing a little milk. It wouldn’t have been enough to sustain the kitten, but he was weaned anyway, just hadn’t broken the nursing habit. Good luck with the puppies.

We decided to bring the albino back. He has no hearing at all, completely deaf. We might have kept him even then, but today he had an epileptic fit and my wife will not go through that again (we had a previous dog who had epilepsy).
Back to the pound for another try....

We have a part Lab/part golden retriever named Max. He's a pretty dog! You may remember that I wrote about him a few months ago when he had a toe amputated; well, he's doing just fine now.
