Not long ago I read a post where some stated they could print songbook straight from external drive by right clicking a folder or something and print there songs right to excel? Can anyone tell me what to do to make that happen? I cant find the post.

I just printed my song book yesterday.   I copied it to a flash drive and Office depo took the drive and printed the books.  Quick and easy.  I just posted a message on this in this forum.

I use Song List Generator to read my files, weed out duplicates and export it to Access (excel works too).

I use Fast Tracks for my books. The only limitation that my songbook porgram has on printing books is that I have to print them from the computer the book is made on.  Maybe because of that I may switch over to their songbook viewer if I add enough songs to need to redo my books as it took two cartridges of ink costing me $18 to replace the ink with.  I know that actually seems cheap, but having to get two cartridges adds up.   I like the fact that my program can take the database exported as a CSV file (yeah I know I could probably send it into excel, but I like the finished product and don't know how to get the same look from excel and Access) and create a book from that.

I did it the hard way. Went over and over the books weeding out duplicates, misspellings, wrong capitalization, etc. I didn’t know about the programs available to do all that for me.  I then took them up to the local print shop and they print them for .04 cents a page.  I don’t think you could print them at home for that, plus it saves wear and tear on your printer.

IMO KJ File Manager and Song List Generator are two of the best for computer karaoke song management.
