Karaoke Forums

Hello,
 I'm researching adding karaoke discs to my laptop and I found this site so I figured I'd give a try.

Long time DJ, started in the business in 1984, weddings, bars, parties, etc.  Worked as a Karaoke DJ since 1989.  I'm still using the CDG's, believe it or not.  So I could use all of the help and advice available to get my laptop library ripped and working correctly.  

I can probably answer any reasonable question regarding PA set-up, microphone mixing, connections, lighting, sound sytems, you name it.  Not a computer newbie but I'm definitely new to using it for karaoke.  So I probably offer some useful information in exchange for input on my laptop karaoke endevour.

I think I have the basic necessities, but I know there's plenty to learn.  I use forums quite regularly and I find them quite useful.

There is always more to learn even if its just dealing with people and the people here are great to help out.

Welcome aboard, this is a great place, with lots of great people...and talk about talent...aughhh, lots of it here I may have to hit the tech forums..myself.. Will be looking forward to hearing a sub from you.
