I am thinking about putting together a home system and had a few questions. I will be running everything from my laptop.
Question 1. I don't want to have a PA system in my house. How do I combine the audio from my laptop and mics to play from my HT speakers or TV speakers?
A small mixer will combine music & mics. Then send the output to the receiver.

Question 2. How do I prevent from blowing my TV or HT speakers?
Prevent blowing the HT stuff that is not designed to handle live vocals - answer a separate pa or dedicated karaoke system. Or just never turn it up when you are singing. May consider at the very least a secondary set of speaker for the karaoke - many receivers have a built in A/B speaker selector.

Question 3. Are there any good dual wireless mic systems for under $150?
None that i'd ever recommend, but then again, this is not my field, I prefer wired.

Question 4. Is there a way to send the video to my TV wirelessly?
Thanks,
