I met Randy J tonight.  Hell of a guy & very good singer to boot!  If all went well I have him recorded & he will be submitting some songs to the Showcase soon.  Sorry I didn't get to get down & BS with you a little more than I would've liked, just got slammed!

Well, being in the UK, doubt I'll meet any of you - which is a shame, all seem like a good bunch!

I have met you, of course, Lonman.

And I have met redbrick in Cleveland,  4003fg in Buffalo, and k3u in the Poconos. With all the times I have been to southern Florida, it is strange I haven't met one of our members there, but I hope to get to dbk1009's show sometime.

hey it was my intention to meet as many as possible this year on my trip from new zealand but jumping out of a tree put paid to my trip...UK is only like 5 hours by plane isnt it? If I can I am planning another trip next year so keep checkin in

That said, I have found a new goal.  I am driven by ambition, and to be fair - at 30 years old have met most of my ambitions so needed to invent more.  Now I am determined at some point to go to one of the massive US karaoke events.

not as many pounds as it is nz $...$3 nz equals 1pound approx...I was to spend 5 weeks in UK this year too...but what use is it to travel to the other side of the world if I cant walk around london or avebury or the lake district

Well I shall give Randy J a piece (just a tiny piece) of my mind for driving down to Tacoma and NOT inviting me along! If he'll let me hitch a ride, I'll go next time.

Would love it!  He was able to get 4 songs in 3 hours before he had to leave.  
Of course had a couple of glitches right off the get go.  One side of my high frequency amp went out for a bit, figured out it was the amp attenuator, getting dirty, flicked it & all was well  :D .  Then had a computer glitch & it crashed a song later on...... Only when you are meeting new people.....

I met knightshow and ericlater, as well as Eric's wife Robin.  (At the same time I met knightshow, I also met another karaoke guy from another forum, but he doesn't post here.)  I have thoroughly enjoyed meeting them all!

Johnny Reverb or Johnny Echo as most of you know him has come to my show. Johnny and his wife are wonderful people and Johnny has a top notch voice. Marty visits from time to time. He is a member here and an area KJ close to where I live. A very professional KJ. It is an honor when ever he visits.

Yeah i've met Matt, he came up to my show several times.  Fun times!!!  That that I can I remember anyway --  lol ,

Isis & PhatRat came in a while back when they were up.  They were a kick as well!  She had actually printed my entire book from the online pdf & went & highlighted every song she wanted - I think she got THREE in that night .

I forgot -- I have also met several members on the phone. Jim (LondonLive) and I had a nice conversation last week. I have also met Jim from Tennessee, and a couple of other people too long ago to remember exactly.

Here in New Jersey -- I  think I'm away fom most

Ive met (Scott)Flipper--been to his Monday night show a number of times.-Flipper even came to see me actually sing with only live band Ive ever sang with---The Northside Blues band!

Manny Pachecho(from THAT's Karaoke)-Ive been to his gig at MR.B's in Anaheim twice.

Been up to Lonman's place 3 times in Tacoma at the T-Bird.

Matt's(Knightshow) iold gig in Portland I visited several times.

Don(Odie) in Canby and  MandyLynn Ive been along to do Karaoke with several times.

Conversed several times over the net with Isis.

If gas werent so high--I'd make a point of doing an overnighter or two to Seatlle to see Kellys show and some of the other KS People up that way.

I will be in driving to LA in late July and maybe can find some LA KS people to go see????

Or maybe driving back to Portland can hit a KS venue or two and say hello?????

Will be staying in Pomona and/or Burbank if anyone knows any KS people in those areas.

I do plan to meet Scott (Flipper) soon, especially now that his show has moved to a better day of the week for me.

Someday... I want to get up to Lonnie's place. Someday.... I'd like to hook up with Tig. I always wanted to (someday) meet Matt, but then he had to up and move off to Missouri.
