Struth! This page was hard to find, but I'm finally here. I got conned into teching a show for the wife a while ago, now I'm the one who drive the show for better sound and lighting. Started with a single cd player now have a trple tray , dvd Laptop more songs than I like to count on one hand and just looking to improve at any moment, by the way she still hasnt got me to sing in public ( slightly intravert) but love making others sound good

Great to hear from someone down unda.  Maybe we can break your cherry here and get you to sing on the Showcase.  Don't worry about singing in public, everyone would love to hear you; it's just about having fun.  Maybe practice singing in your car to get your confidence up.

Welcome to KS - it sounds like you need a shower curtain setup.  LMAO
Some KJs actually use a portable shower curtain to make people feel more at ease singing. You are not alone in having stage fright.

I would like to thank all you who wellcomed me to the forum. Did 2 shows on the weekend, totally different to each other one on sat went like a dream but friday if something could go wrong it did. had a lead come appart and a mic didn't want to work someone winged that they didnt get a free drink voucher etc etc . but it was all still fun after all.
