I have to admit though guys know how to have fun. I grew up with 3 older brothers and decided there is no reason I can't have fun doing the things they do.

Why not start by taking heed to your OWN alleged sage Ollie ?  There's a difference between the giving of "welcomed advice" and "impinging" oneself.  This is ONGOING.

Learn something from your own repeated doings !  If you're too old *a man* to learn from *your* repeated mistakes, you're too old *a man* to be giving advice to those that are still learning as you needed to learn.  Learn when NOT to offer an opinion, it shouldn't be too late for that.  Rather than make excuses repeatedly trying to vindicate this ongoing aggressive behaviour, admit wrongdoing and OWN it !

I can respect the fact that Vicki and Keith dislike one-another, that's between them, and unless I'm involved in it, I stay OUT OF IT,  but don't align yourself with one friend against another.  Because -whether you can see it or not, that's just what ended up happening.

I've PM'd and Emailed you regarding impulsive posts.  Sometimes just take a deep breath, wait, sleep on it-  Don't post at the rate (you post) attacking those you claim "are friends".  Additionally,  If you can't take THIS as constructive "hard-knocks" / "Tough Love" advice (without taking a defensive posture), you seriously have no right giving anybody advice in here !

Yes Kappy, SweetWater is the best ...But for the most part they only sell top end gear so the price is high.

When you call them, make sure to explain you want to deal with a salesperson that shares your musical background and experience........THAT is when you will finally connect with what makes Sweetwater special....From then on, you n he will be connected at the hip.

Thanks Keith,  I'm at a stage now where I'd rather support the business that has sales reps that care about, not to mention have some clue as what the interests of those they are selling to is about, or just KNOW something about their area of work and can help the customer in a more interactive manner, it likely means I'll spend more but more efficiently, so I'll enjoy an area that new to me more (computer digital recording).  Sweetwater is competitive price-wise, and I'll buy the recently reduced akg headphones from them as well as smaller items too.  I won't milk them for their free S&H while giving the more costly sales to other companies.  I owe no loyalty to MF, and will have plenty of chances to do further business with AMS (who doesn't have the headphones in stock anymore)..  

It'll be a pleasure to talk to a sales rep that has a clue as to what they are talking about for a change.. Not these 24/7 phone order teenage kid phone sitters that don't know how to spell the word "music".

Anyway, I'm on a new Dell notebook 3 gig ram duo core pentium 250 gig HD.... and this Vista is somewhat new to me still so I better go read about this new Op Sys before I blow something up or hurt myself.

i made it back to Oklahoma yesterday... Saturday is still just a blur i do remember some little blond at the karaoke bar, a jealous boyfriend,  the strip club waking up in keiths pu truck at 8:30 a.m. and not drinking anything on Sunday...... thank goodness you only have to confess your sins to GOD and not your mate..........cal
