surely that will be determined by whether a manufacturer puts one out

I have not been able to generate any interest in HS Musical, though I have younger people at my shows.  From discussions I have had, it seems you have to be betwen 0-14 to know anything about the music.

I happen to think that "Keep to The Status Quo" is a great song and I've been trying to promote a sing-along with different people taking on different roles.  So far, no one knows what I'm talking about!

I adore that "Soarin' Flyin'" song (Breaking Free???).  I mean, I hate it totally, but it's just so catchy that it must have been written purely for that one hook.

Anyhow, I am waiting for someone to request it at one of my gigs!  I am gonna go loopy!

Different markets my friend.  HSM wasn't all that well received in the UK.  Disney did their best, but it's not a schooling experience shared by UK students.

But I do love that song.  I keep looking and looking for some decent remixes too!

Same here, never had a request for any HSM - or any Disney for that matter.

Oh I dunno about No Disney ;)  One of the gay bars I used to play - they were all up for the Disney showtunes.  Bloody nightmare it was!

Yeah, gotta say I do find the song selection at gay bars a touch random, but they are always fun nights!

Way I see it - I'm the straight guy in the gay bar.  If anyone should have a concern it's them, not me.  If they are happy enough to have a straight person there, then that's gracious of them.

Personally I'd take a gay gig any day!

I used to be a real homophobig git about 4 years ago.  Trust me, I'd not even talk to gay men!

Then I made friends with a couple through my GF, and they are my best mates.  Like THAT night that I met them, we got on so well.  One is now an usher at my wedding :)

Ignorance breeds a lot of bad feelings!

I have many gay friends as long as they respect I am not.  I know a few that think because they are they can "play" flirt and sometimes even touchy feely, this I don't like.  I don't like it from some of the bar fly girls, sure don't need it from a guy....playing or not.  Respect me & i'll respect you regardless of your preference.

See, that's what put me off.  I don't assume every gay man will want me, co not every straight woman does - that would be absurd.

And I do now know the difference between Gay and Queen.

But the first gay person to ever join us at a party was a real queen.  Fat depressive stereotype who HAD to be the centre of attention or he would sulk.  He came out clubbing dressed as a fairy, which immediately put me on edge.

And as soon as he worked out that I didn't hold with it - which in fairness I demonstrated quite civilly by just not associating with it - I didn't react aggressively, I just left him to do what he did.  As soon as he worked that out - he kept bopping me on the hair with his little fairy wand.

I asked him to stop, and he didn't.  Now, I'd not tollerate that from a girl or a st8 guy.  So when I tell him to stop it, grab the wand and drop it into his drink - suddenly I'm a "homophobe".  Oh well...

I wish i could have seen that being a gay man myself I dont like the fairy types and sometimes the can go overboard but anyway I think we getting off the topic..but by the same token it nice to hear there are gay friendly people out there
