Can anyone help me out right quick?  I'm doing a private gig out in the sticks and the strangest thing just happened.  The 4K, 8K, and 16K frequencies just quit working while a singer was singing.  I haven't pushed it too loud at all and the singer was not yelling or anything.  No one touched it.  It just quit in the middle of the song.  However all the other frequencies are working fine.  Any help anyone PLEASE?!!  :(  :(

did you try hooking up other channels and the problem repeated? If that's the case, the mixer went bad.

Yeah.  Tried that too.  Same deal with all twelve channels.  I can't believe this.  I've only used this mixer like a dozen times over the past few years.  I paid the cash for this mixer cause it's supposed to be one of the best out there.  Must just be dumb luck.  I wonder if there's any way to have it repaired.

Get a spray can of contact cleaner . With the plastic spout hit each one in the arm slot and then work the arm back and forth. If that works I would do all including the faders.

Dumb luck is right.   It's a great board.  Yes most service shops will be able to fix it.  It could be something as simple as a loose jumper inside since the entire eq circuit didn't go out.
