All of the P****S series amps are nice. I don't have the 7000 but I do have the 5000 that I use on monitors. It performs flawlessly with plenty of head room. I believe mine is about 4 years old now. Being able to switch between stereo, parallel and bridged modes easily is a nice feature. The frequency filters work well also if you choose to split the amp. The only downside to them (and it may not be depending on your application), is that even though they give a spec for 4 Ohm bridged, they don't recommend that you do so. I found that to be a little misleading. The amp is light, reliable and the fans operate quietly. A very efficient amp and if you don't need to run less than 4 Ohms on either side I am sure you would be happy with it's performance. I did see some new ones on Ebay with a Buy It Now price of 550 and a used one on Nashvilles craigslist for 350. Good luck

I've used my P7000s for several years on sub duty and love it. Although much lighter than a regular power amp it's a bit heavy for a switchmode. But when you open one up you see why. Two discrete power rails independently cooled by two fans. My QSC PLX  saves some weight by using one rail, but runs hotter. I like the Yamaha design better.

I have run it bridged at 4 ohms, but not usually. No problems and it still ran cool.

Call around. These have been heavily discounted off MAP in the past although I haven't priced one this year.
