I dont know what started it but I have got this collection of crazy hats over the past year ..and of course ill wear them..jester hat... beer mug..top hat... and others ...Once a month i buy beads and give them out to each singer comes up..the girls really like this....Sexy Bra and Boxer Contest>>>>now this really gets nuts but hey I like making things interesting..of course the bra NEVER stay on so you know what happens next

You'll notice only the newbies that come on here with a real ATTITUDE are the ones who get chased down and harassed. If G had perused this forum for a while before jumping on and trying to impress all of us, he'd perhaps have had a different approach, having seen what happens to people like him - think S/W. Same sort of attitude. Hard to ignore this "in-your-face my rules" guy - just begs for the kind of treatment he's getting. Maybe he'll slither off like S/W.

To be honest I think this is the type of response he is looking for. And it is certainly deserved that's for sure.

When you come onto a forum to get advice or input from the regulars there you don't....and I repeat don't come across as a "Karaoke God" cause it's gonna tick people off. Why ask the questions in the first place if you think you have all the answers.

Go back through his posts for the past couple of weeks. You will see the trend.


He acts as if he is the victim here, but in reality he is bringing this on himself. Yet he continues to post in spite of the comments.

I'd say it would be a little confusing to customers. It is okay to get wild and crazy and strip off your clothes. So why would they think they'd get kicked out or banned for breaking stricked unheard of rules. No wonder you get no respect.

I'm kinda new here, but I've been around karaoke-related message boards since 1998. I've read the threads where gemini gets into some heated discussions. In those threads, he gets pretty belligerent, and gets what he gets. I don't agree, however with chasing him down with abuse every time he opens a thread, regardless of the subject of the new thread. If you relly want him to away, ignore the BS. Gemini seems to thrive on attention, of any kind. Don't feed the trolls; you risk looking more like a troll. should someone see this thread before they see the many threads where you've contributed great content to this board. Gemini started this thread with a post about his habit of wearing funny hats at his show. I think silence would be a more effective reply than abuse.

I agree - But there is a small part of me that thinks maybe, just maybe he'll be socialized by our responses. If you realize 99% of others who do the same job disagree with how you're doing things you'll come around to realize maybe they have a point. But by now we should probably understand he is the way he is and there is no point in trying to help him.

First...thank you for sharing your observations as well as your opinion regarding this "situation". This IS America, and your, as well as anyone else's right to voice them, is guaranteed by our constitution. EXCEPT, in Salinas. ( sorry...it was just...there ). I'm sure that I'm not an angel when it comes to this subject, BUT, having "survived" the BD/SW fiasco, this type of posting gets VERY old, VERY quick. Also, not a believer in the "three for a quarter" mentallity, I am personally fed up with one being able to post utter nonsense, with no type of admonishment from the powers to be, and when "reprisals" are delivered, it's usually delved out to those who decided that enough is enough, not directed at the source. I'm also sure that others, most long time members, feel somewhat the same. At any rate, don't feel too bad for the person who is on the receiving end. In most cases, it is a "you sow what you reap" predicament.

Donny, I'm not defending gemini. I'm not going to repeat myself, either. I see what you mean, though. And thanx for the lesson on government. Lately, I could have sworn (loudly) that we here in the states are governed by a petroleum-based monarchy.
