Oh my what's this world coming to! Ok grant it, I haven't been to a karaoke bar in many moons but don't they have go-go bars for that kinda stuff! How does flashing & karaoke go together?? Hmmm...

hey Andy there is another thread that asks is karaoke dying...it could be they are trying to keep it alive by any means possible

flashing is like rum, it goes with everything! . Ive had a couple shows where the owner put porn up on the bar tv.that seemed to go over quite well too.

I think it has more to do with the actual song, not just karaoke. After it happens one night and it happens on the second night, it becomes a tradition. In addition to the previous place I mentioned, there was one other bar that catered to the young college crowd and they had a long bar and sometimes twenty young college co-eds would by dancing away. Some would flash or just lower a zipper to get the guys all excited. That is until the MPD showed up and warned the patrons to at least keep theirt clothes on. No tickets were issued.

ha I was in a bar one time when the foot cop walked through. girl i was talking to says " he what ya going to do if i flash ya?" cop says" as long as my boss wont here about it , not a thing". she gave him a lil tease but didnt show anything..he laughed and went on his way. he was well aware that it happens a lot there.

I think their is a huge difference if you are a male karaoke host. I have to keep a line of respect in the room. If I had women stripping or flashing and acted like it was okay with me I'd have guys thinking it was okay to get loose with me. Last thing I need is a bunch of guys groping me and being disrespectful.

I like to keep a family friendly atmosphere. I have a lot of mom & dads that come in with their 20 something kids. A lot of the time I'll even see 3 generations.
Don't get me wrong we have a lot of fun and get crazy, just not naked. .

Not sure why I get flashed a lot. I'm bald (I get told I look like Chris Daughtry on a daily basis), and I hear women are into that these days, so maybe that has something to do with it.

You'll find me agreeing hugely with this - as females, we have to really establish a firm line - a few times I've had drunks think they could come up and 'get close' to me. Nothing is worse. I will do everything I can to avoid being rude but sometimes alcohol obliterates common sense completely. I don't think I've ever had anyone flash at one of my shows but I've usually worked in higher class places with bouncers. They'd never get away with it. And as I think about who comes to shows these days, there aren't many I'd like to see nekkid anyway (male OR female!)

I think it started with Vin Deisel and Bruce Willis. I personally like the bald look. I think it is very handsome. The only no-no is when a guy has the super shiny head look. Yuck!!!

I don't get the whole *flashing* thing. I mean women+alcohol=trouble.... that's a given. And I've pulled some crazy stunts and blamed it on liquor. But flashing people publicly? I don't care how much alcohol was consumed, I'd never lose my sense of decency enough to flash the KJ.. or anyone else in public.

We don't really see stuff like that here in our town. Portland? I can only imagine. I've seen some raunchy rowdiness (and done some myself), and it seems sadly that the larger women, of which there are plenty here, seem to think wearing very low cut blowses makes them *sexier*.... but we don't have gals flashing and/or stripping. (well.... there was that one time) But I do believe she was an out-of-towner.

Hubby's band was playing at kind of a low-class place (they rarely do these kinds of gigs, thank goodness) and when they finished they headed outside to cool off and have a smoke. Three women, who looked like they had been rode hard and put away wet too many times, followed them out. Apparently they flashed the guys and it was PRETTY disgusting. One of them took a pic on his cell phone. Not sure what they were hoping to accomplish by such antics - and apparently the guys couldn't help but laugh. (These were not young women with perky, nubile breasts - these were women probably in their 40s or maybe even 50s, and their breasts had headed south to the top of the jeans awhile back...now there's a visual for ya)

ummm MandiLynn....maybe not in Canby but it happens all the time here in Portland. Not every week mind you, but I see it as a KJ at least a couple times a month. It's usually the 20 somethings so the view is generally a good one. Sometimes I miss them and someone will say "did you see that" and of course it is always on the times I'm glued to my mixer or something.

It seems to be a thing that has caught on about 2-3yrs ago with the younger set.

I don't mind at all..

I've never had anyone who actually stripped or hung a BA
