I've been flashed in KC, Portland, Seattle (Not TACOMA, though, Lon! LOL!), Vancouver, Eugene... and not just at karaoke shows. Guess they love to see the look on my face

I'd never say any women are whore's that's classless - however I realise you were joking, and I (for one) adore poor taste jokes.

BUT

I will say that as a rule I love how a lot of Americans are less inhibited than us brits. And BABS: I would certainly go to your show - you do sound like it gets nice n wild - but the line of respect - 100% agree!

Well, that's pretty much where I was going with the "American women are" thing. People in this country treat sexuality in a completely different way than elsewhere in the world. What I find most interesting is that we're both the most sexually expressive, and also oppressively conservative nation. I point to Janet Jackson's infamous wardrobe malfunction. The furor over that was mind-bogglingly ridiculous to me. Never mind that the same who decried it were those who were watching an hours-long display of violence centered around a piece of pigskin with millions of dollars and bragging rights on the line. A titanic overture of consumerism at its finest. Personally, I find that far more disgusting than a two second nipple shot, but I guess that's just me.

Needless to say, I'm about the furthest thing from a prude you'll find.

The only time I can remember anything like this happening, a drunk guy kept offering over the microphone to pay any girl $50 to show everybody her thong. No big deal, except a girl would get up on stage and then not do it. And then he'd offer her the $50 again. And then she'd act interested...and not do it. And so back and forth it would go. Five minutes at least.

After awhile I didn't care about the damn thong, I just wanted to see a karaoke show.

I have this one girl that loved to show her goodies almost every week. She was just an exibitionist and loved it. No one minded till a jealous female ratted her out to the owner that banned it. Then she would just discretely flash her friends...

I have seen this at other shows as well. It is just what happens when alcohol mixes with sexy music. Mostly women are the flashers, but a few guys have done it (heck- dont ask what was under my toga).

So, when do we all meet for Mardi-Gras?

Yes, I've been flashed a handful of times. Generally, it's NOT the ones you want to see though. It's all good, as long as it's done tastefully and at the right moment, not all the time...hey, look at these!!!

Three words:

Girls. Gone. Wild.

They might take place in exotic places, but 95% of the girls are 'Mericans.

and of course the term bandied about worldwide is "only in america" but frankly its not true...the brits make the best and the edgiest comedy in the world

Some of the stuff that passes for comedy in Britain wouldnt get past your censors

Same with here, some of the stuff on our tvs and radio you guys would ban...even down to ads.

We get Canadian television where we are and it never ceases to amaze me how there doesn't seem to be any censoring going on on their after prime time tv programs. Kind of nice to be acknowledged as an adult and able to tolerate such things. And yes, Brit comedy is pretty darn edgy. Many here don't even understand it. Such a shame.

You're right. America can be the contradiction at times. Say for example - you can have a storyline depicting rape, mutilation, beatings, abortion - but cannot say "(@$%&#!)"...

As for British Comedy - hell yeah we make the good stuff. But as Karen has said, Canadians make some amazing comedy also!

Kenny vs Spenny!!!!!
