....well what I mean is, I like to have the original keys and most of the
correct instruments on the tracks, I do not need lyrics if that helps.
Vocal removal software is still not to great is it, cause that would be ideal.

+, has anyone used one of those Tascam DR-1 Recorders ?

You could try having a look at Jeff Daniels. Though if you want the track to be exactly the same as one with a fade-out ending, you won't find it here. Jeff doesn't do fade-outs!

Check out his site at http://www.backingtracks.co.uk/

You can also order custom tracks from Jeff. I had a few made and all I did was send him an mp3 of the song I wanted.

Vocal removal hasn't been perfected yet. You're not going to get what your looking for trying to do that. Save your money.

Some bands actually release their music without vocals. It depends on what songs you're looking for. Do you need the graphics? or just the music?

In the CDG world most will tell you sound Choice is the best. Others will argue it depends on the style of music. Some manufacturers are better at reproducing for example Heavy Metal than others.

I would post this in the Discussion room. You will get a lot more response there.

I would also state what kind of music and if you are only looking for the music tracks and not the graphics. Good luck !

Hey murrlyn thanks I'll check that out.
Don't need fade outs really, I just can't stand to hear
and accordian or something like that when the song call
for an orchestra etc, :grrr:

I don't use a karaoke machine so that's why I'm looking for
tracks in the original keys, that way I know what I'm up against
already when I pick the tunes I like to sing.

Thanks babs for the heads up, I figured that vocal delete software was still
not ready for stage.
I have no need for graphics that's why I mentioned I don't need lyrics,
I guess thats more accurately reffered to here as 'graphics' ........

I do different styles so that probably makes it tougher to recomend.
I like to do some Journey tunes, Country , and some Tony Bennett as well
so one company probably won't cover everything.

Hey there. You could try Karaoke Version - they are a French company but they have good quality backing tracks as MP3s that you can play through an iPod or however...not all original instruments but good quality versus a lot that you find out there...and reasonable price.
